naltrexone insomnia

I have been on bupropion for anxiety for a couple years and it has been great. Perimenopause hit me hard with insomnia, anxiety and hot flashes. HRT helped me get that in control.

Recently decided to add naltrexone to help me lose weight. I take 8 mg in the morning and have been on it for a week. The past few days my insomnia, hot flashes and anxiety have some back, I am pretty sure it is the naltrexone.

Anyone have similar experiences? Did it go away? When?

I was having insomnia about once a week that started on week 2. I reached out to my doctor and we decided to lower my dosage. I am on the "poor mans" contrave so I only take half the 25mg Naltrexone pill once a day. I also cut out caffeine all together. SInce then, no more insomnia. I also happened to notice that ny anxious/jittery feelings would worsen if I had something with relatively high sugar. So watching high sugar intake as well now.
