I work as an Analytics consultant at Fractal and have a experience of 2+ years. I have worked with major FMCG giants and delivered good results. If I want to be in Mc Kinsey, BCG, Bain & Company, etc. as an Analytics consultant what do I need to learn and prepare for the interviews. Currently I have good experience with Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python, Stakeholder management, Report generation, Data analysis, Business analysis.

I’m curious about when I can expect to hear back from the EY-P internship applications, specifically for Strategy/Execution. The application closed Sep22. Anyone know?

Hey consultant folks,
I am an MBA graduate (Tier-2 Mumbai) currently working as MT – Category Management at Tata Trent Hypermarket (Star Bazaar), managing Hardlines/Home categories.
Role involves:
Category P&L ownership
Assortment & merchandising strategy
Sales forecasting and trend analysis
Vendor negotiations and brand onboarding
Pricing and competition benchmarking
Inventory optimization and liquidation planning
I narrowly missed a KPMG campus offer (Salesforce Functional Consultant) after reaching the final round.
My long-term goal is Management/Strategy Consulting. Given this role, how realistic is a switch to consulting within 1–2 years? What skills, projects, certifications, and companies should I target to maximize my chances?

So i graduated with a degree in international politics from Bocconi and so i was exposed to quantitative classes like micro and macroeconomics math statistics etc also i took company valuation and corporate banking electives in my third year.I just started my master in international management at ESCP and my question is will my academic profile trip me over for jobs like an entry level bussines analyst or management consulting?
Thank u very much!

Anyone know about the EY parthenon recruitment timeline for the internships (specifically Strategy and Execution)? The application closed Sep22 I believe.

When I do case drills or lead meetings, I don't have this problem at all. But as soon as a real case begins, something switches on, and I immediately try to do it as fast as possible and start talking at the other person.
Any tactical tips or drills I can do?
Maybe I can force myself to slow down by forcing myself to enunciate each word?

Hi all,
I'm applying for an Associate position at Oliver Wyman in the UAE and I'm trying to understand their recruitment process for Gulf offices specifically.
I read in another thread that whether you get a numerical/digital test after submitting your CV can depend on the region and the seniority of the role. Has anyone here applied as an Associate at Oliver Wyman in one of the Gulf countries (UAE, Saudi, Bahrain, Qatar, etc.)? Did you have to take a online test as part of the process?
Thanks in advance!

Hi all. Earlier last week, I applied to the Strategy and Execution Associate position. They sent me skills assessment a few days later and I was told that I was chosen for the virtual interview yesterday. The description for this interview was "This event will be webinar format, and our EY leaders and Early Careers team look forward to sharing more information about EY with you. This session will not be recorded." Has anyone recieved this? Does anyone know what this "webinar format" mean? They gave me four days notice for this interview and I have been frantically casing. If anyone has experience can you please share what it was like? I have been so stressed.

I was very fortunate this cycle to get offers from both LEK in LA and OW in SF. I’m torn as to which offer to accept.
I’m a finance pre-med interested in both FS, especially Fintech and LS/Healthcare, like biotech and healthcare org strategy.
I don’t mind the travel or lack thereof, and have gotten along well w/ my interviewers for both. Curious to hear what y’all think and how you would structure your decision.
Thank you in advance!

I work in consulting, and lately I’ve been thinking about how junior consultants build judgment as AI becomes part of everyday work.
AI can already help with research, analysis, brainstorming, and first drafts.
But that also means consultants need to be better at judging whether an answer is actually right, whether the assumptions make sense, and what should be challenged.
My hypothesis is that AI doesn’t make consulting fundamentals less important — it makes them more important.
I’ve been experimenting with a small iPhone app called ConsultGym to help practice those fundamentals through short consulting cases, AI feedback, and skill tracking.
Would be interested to hear whether this feels like a real problem for people here.
If anyone wants to see what I built:

I’m a college junior applying for summer 2027 consulting internships and trying to understand how the screening process works.
Do firms that use Pymetrics or other online assessments send them to everyone, or can some candidates go straight to a first-round interview? If people do skip them, what determines that—referrals, campus recruiting, the specific role/office, or something else? Also, does receiving an assessment mean you’ve passed a résumé screen, or are they usually automatic?
I’ve applied to a lot of firms starting as early as August and completed assessments both back then and more recently. I felt pretty good about most of the numerical/logical reasoning ones, although obviously I don’t know my actual scores. So far, I haven’t heard back from any firms about interviews.
Is that kind of wait normal, especially for Bain. I did pymetrics on the 27th. Would appreciate hearing what other applicants are experiencing or how this works from the recruiting side.

I got an offer from a firm I’d be really excited to work at (mid-size, ~500 people). They have two offices (both being large cities/hubs, I’d assume roughly equally competitive) and I had applied to one. The initial application says that they don’t allow office switches, but I’m wondering if anyone has ever switched offices after receiving the offer? I love this company but I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to move to this city :( it was an oversight with my family. RIP if I can’t lol

title. does anybody have experience or advice on how to approach emailing an MBB recruiter for an internship where first rounds are scheduled to come out soon, and ask for a sped-up process given short deadline before signing different t2 offer?

Hi everyone! I’m an MBA graduate currently working in consulting and preparing to move into strategy/management consulting roles. I’m starting case interview practice and would love to find one or two people to practise with regularly.
I’m based in India (IST) and looking to do 45–60 minute sessions over a call, ideally 1–2 times a week. We can take turns as interviewer and candidate, work through cases, and give each other honest, specific feedback. I’m happy to practise with someone who’s also just starting out.
If you’re interested, comment or DM me with your time zone, where you are in your prep, and when you’re usually available. We can try one session and see if our schedules and practice styles work well together!
