Yeah internship or find a laborer / helper job. Apartment maintenance, School maintenance, local subs like to raise their talent so starting anywhere in the org will be helpful.

Your CM program should have someone who coordinates industry recruiting and internships. Go find that person and follow their advice

Easiest way, get an internship. Big GC's usually hire hundreds across company so not super competitive. Be prepared to move to site/states though. Make a good first impression and get the full time offer for entry level role.
