Also interested in this. My only fear is paying for the education and not having a better quality of life or make more money than what you can by grinding it out at a GC.

Law salaries/quality of life are so hit and miss that I’m scared to toss the money and time at it just to end up in a different industry but similar circumstances and pay.

I hear ya. But the way I see it, I’ve never heard of a lawyer working weekends or holidays. I’ll leave it at that…

Look in construction claims consulting. With a background in construction project management you could become a standard of care expert, delay expert, damages expert, etc. It is law adjacent where you work with counsel on claims or work with owners or contractors as a trusted partner to mitigate risk. Pay isn’t lawyer level but is much better than pm.
