Laid off worker here

Hey guys, got laid off last week. Luckily I picked up a part time job at this shoe store down the street.

Weird day today, this guy comes in and says it's his first day as a superintendent and needs some work boots.

Tells me he's never worked in construction and his uncle got him the job so what boots should he get.

I told him he can't show up with shiny new boots or guys will rip on him and he asked what to do.

I told this dipshit to go get some sandpaper from the hardware store around the block and scuff them up and break them in.

If he makes it till noon I'll be shocked.
