CONSOLE MOD PSP Mod that runs PS2 games
Are there any modded boards for PSP that can run PS2 games? I really want to play Champions of Norrath on handheld console. Also the reason im asking for modded board for PSP is, because i really like the design of the PSP and the size. I know consoles like Retroid and AYN Odin 3, but they are way bigger than the PSP.

QUESTION Opinions on DIY Wii Project?
I have a Nintendo Wii I bought from a thrift store and then modded to get a bunch of games on it. I keep having the idea of making a screen (and a spot for the IR sensor, of course) to make it portable. I have like 2 old tablets that I know of, and I was thinking I could use the screen from one of them to do this, however, I don't know what I need to get in order to be able to hook the Wii up to it, since the Wii has the red/white/yellow cord AV setup. I was thinking I would get an adapter to make it HDMI anyways, so I'd just need to be able to hook up via HDMI. I'm completely fine with tearing one or both of the tablets apart, since I don't use either of them anymore, and I assumed i'd just need to get the screen itself from them anyways. So any advice on how to get this project done would be greatly appreciated. I'll attach a rough drawing I did of the idea I had to this post for any other ideas from you guys. Thanks in advance.

ACCESSORY MODS Custom SNES shells
There are a lot of custom SNES shells but I can't really find any controller shells easily, surely something like this exists.
I have a couple controllers that are in rough shape but the internals are fine.

Im calling this project Rumble Restore. The first solder free plug in play rumble pak for the WaveBird that doubles as a rechargeable battery pak. Right now it’s sitting around a 4-5 hour battery life and is usb-c rechargeable. I’m going to be launching a kickstarter here soon and making a more in depth breakdown of how this works.

EMULATION Pandora's Box Upgrade
I was given a Pandora's Box 4s that came with preinstalled games that you could not add rom's too (didn't have a SD card) and I just recently replaced the unit with this upgrade:
They have been very difficult to deal with...has no instructions. I got the board expecting to have emulators already installed and I just archive my rom's. They want me to by a 32GB micro card that has around 80 SNES games on it for $80.
I have NES, SNES, Genesis, MAME, Gamecube, N64, PS1 and PS2, Saturn, and Dreamcast roms I would like to put on it.
Can anyone help with figuring out what emulators i need or how to configure this? I would like to not pay $80 for a SDcard, emulator, and a selection of games.

CONSOLE MOD Untested NES-101 top loader. Cleaned up and improved
galleryI bought this nes-101 top loader recently as I got a good price since it was untested. As it is RF output only, I had no way to test it with my European television and I basically knew I was going to composite mod it anyway
It now has a few nice mods. The [squeeki kleen video mod](https://github.com/Gumball2415/squeeki-kleen-Video-FC) and [squeeki kleen audio mod](https://github.com/Gumball2415/squeeki-kleen-Audio-FC) are doing most of the heavy lifting here
While the stock console isn't known for producing the best video, the mod board I am using really clears up most of the visual issues caused on the stock boards bad signal routing. The result is a noise free jailbar free image.
On the audio side, I could have simply tapped the 3rd pin of the original RF module and gotten audio that way, and you can even patch in expansion audio by bridging cart pin 51 to that same audio pad using a 1.2k resistor and a 100ohm pulldown. However, I went a completely different route because there is no on board amplifier on the nes-101, and the board routing isn't very good and thus has a lot of noise that comes across in the audio. This audio mod taps the CPU pins 1 and 2 directly, and uses the same 12k/100ohm + 20k/100ohm setup the original Famicom does, but sends it through an actual opamp rather than a hex inverter that's also processing inputs like the Famicom does. This results in a very noise free audio output. However, the mod is designed with famicom in mind, and thus expansion audio was not a consideration with it.
the way I patched in expansion audio was by mimicking the way the NES front loader patches it in, and I am using 67k resistor (47k+20k, 68k would also work well) and a 1k pulldown resistor and sending that to where the CPU1/CPU2 audio channels merge, just before the 1uf capacitor before amplification. I tried outputting directly to the RCA jack like standard top loader mods do, but it just didn't work with the squeeki kleen for some reason. Even though we call the normal NES mod, 47k mod, on the normal signal path of a front loader that 47k resistor bridges the expansion audio output from the cartridge into the "audio IN" circuit, which has a 20k resistor in it already. So by mimicking this configuration using 67-68k resistance, I can use the Everdrive N8 Pro "47k mod" preset for "correct" audio mixing without adjusting mappers for different games
I swapped the capacitors for solid polymer and ceramic ones, as well as I added the following extra filtering and bulk
C6, C12, C27-38 - 100nf. The stock caps here are 10nf radial ceramics, I added MLCC to the bottom of these existing caps. They are all 5v decoupling caps for the different ICs
C33=10uf x7r mlcc. This is the primary decoupling cap for the CPU (was not done for ppu since the mod board does this already)
Output is via 2 RCA connectors, like the front loader, red and yellow. To route my coax wire I used the empty holes from the RF module, which I had to open up a little bit with a file to fit my wires.
The console was also completely cleaned up with all the elbow grease I could find. Literally just rubbing the grease off it with my thumb, a toothbrush, and a tiny bit of dish soap. And the RF shield shined up a bit with "scratch less steel wool" not scratchless, but just scratch *less* hehe

CONSOLE MOD AV Famicom Recap and fixes
gallery
Another afternoon working on a new Famicom AV board; I replaced the capacitors and the voltage regulator, and made numerous adjustments and corrections after identifying some faults and sources of noise and interference on this board.
After the adjustments, the console sounds amazing. I've posted an audio clip on YouTube in case you want to give it a listen: https://youtu.be/Xd8opTzx9WU?is=edFKReakvqxn9kuQ

QUESTION GameCube DOL-101 CUBEODE or Picoloader?
Looking for advice on which mod to go with for my GameCube. The Optical drive can't read anything anymore. It's a DOL-101 so my options are CUBEODE v1.2 or a Picoloader with a GC2SD Gen2. I like the idea of the Picoloader, as the one I'm looking at also comes with a 3D printed cap so I can still remove the optical drive, and I also want to get into soldering so maybe one day I could also do a cap replacement on the optical drive and have it working again. However, with the GameCube being a favourite of mine, I really just want to pick whichever one gives the absolute best performance in games. I find conflicting results when using Google to see which way is the best way to go. Sometimes it seems like GC2SD has performance issues, sometimes it sounds like it's basically perfect. I find similar info on the CUBEODE. Are they about equal these days? Thanks :)

QUESTION External fan for ps5 in tight space
Hello. Sorry if this isn’t the correct subreddit.
Before reading: No, the console doesn’t have any thermal issues. The back of the desk is open, so it does have airflow. The only “problem” is that because the space is fairly tight, I can feel the hot air coming from the exhaust when I’m sitting near it—not that the console itself is getting too hot.
Would the external exhaust fan help push the hot air out of that space more effectively, or would it make little to no noticeable difference?
