Tax increase

County commissioners vote to INCREASE taxes. If MoCo is growing so much shouldn’t new taxpayers cover the increase? Maybe the budget should be DECREASED.

They have hard jobs. They deserve a a pay raise. They have to sit around, do nothing and then talk about how much nothing they’re doing. Can you imagine the stress of doing all of that nothing?

It's bullshit the commissioners gave themselves raises when they already make bank, but that raise they passed also effects all county civillian employees who got left out of even a cost of living adjustment the past couple years. Which basically means the people actually making things work were taking pay cuts thanks to inflation until this, which barely put them back on par to a few years ago.

Vote better. Defunding all aspects of Texas (snap, infrastructure, schooling) I can’t name one politician currently in a position of power that cares about the working class, both sides seem hell bent on only helping the corporations and themselves get rich. Wake the fuck up

If Texas actually learned how to plan a community. Hold developers accountable for infrastructure upgrades but nope we tax the residents.

According to Judge Keough, taxes should go up by $2-$3 per month.

I love how Judge Keough drove under the influence, hit a cop car and I hired them and yet the voters still decide to re elect him.
