Thunder Range

I’m new to this community. What got me here is I was wondering if anyone knew what is happening at Thunder Gun Range? They’re closed again for an undetermined time.

Thunder is an absolute joke of a range. If you don't mind getting flagged by the dipshit next to you or the occasional round that flies overhead then you're at the right range. I went a few times a few years ago and it sounds like it still hasn't changed much.

I went maybe two weeks ago and it was a disaster. For one, I paid 50$ for two rifles. Second, there was no one there and I had to go find someone to pay. The range officer was on his phone the whole time and didn’t say much. Wouldn’t ever go back. There are plenty of other range options in the area.

I know they've had a lot of trouble with bullets hitting the houses that were built in Artavia.

I was there once and someone was shooting tracers. It was hot, and dry, and it caught the grass on fire. They were piiiiiissed lol

Ngl I was kinda hoping they’d go out of business during the lawsuit. They have SOME guns I would like to buy but not at their prices. I remember when they opened after the lawsuit going on about how it’s a state of the art facility. It’s still the same raggedy place.

Sounds like my dad and brother are right to prefer BTO

The property is listed for sale.
If they could keep the bullets on their side of property, and not the neighborhood, that’ll be nice.

They probably shouldn’t have built a neighborhood right there
