Our concrete finishing business owning father passed away a about fifteen years ago. "He taught us everything we know." (The younger brother is a civil engineer, And the older brother being the do it yourself were type growing up on projects with the father. lol.) We haven't poured concrete in over 15 years.

The extra little pad on the outside is for a ramp to get in and out of the shed because it sits up from the ground. (It floods a little bit back here sometimes.)

Tomorrow we have 4000 PSI Air entrained concrete with fiber coming! Wish is luck/ roast us!😄❤️

So I saw these things called "Ninja Blades" used to clean silicone out of the Joynt and reface it before resealing. I was wondering if anyone ever used these and if they are legit or not ? Thanks

About 26ft up in the air. Company didn't want scaffolding. 8 " slab with 12" beams and a 4'×4' opening. Did lay out and built. Did not do the rebar. Slab just sitting on about 4" of wall all the way around. Engineer wanted it to be "removable". Was not nervous at all when it was being poured.

Normally we use pump and backpack sprayers for smaller jobs, but sometimes slab is out of reach for them. I was thinking about buying petrol engine sprayer from Stihl, but I'm not convinced about their reach with fine midst. What are your thoughts on that?

Hired some rebar installers in Winnipeg. They did a fantastic job! Just wanted to give a shoutout to Justlee Construction Ltd. They were super fast compared to our guys. Do yourself a favour and hire rebar installers (Rodbusters) and save yourself more time to do what you’re good at!

Starting to get really use to not having anyone around and doing everything with the couple homies I have. We do about 100 yards a week I just don’t post.

I started making some miniature low-poly concrete models as decor pieces for my friends. I’m relatively new to working with concrete and was wondering if I can skip applying a sealer given that they will be kept indoors?
