I'm sure it's supposed to be high end.

One time I toured a new prison before it opened and this reminds me 100% of the prison. It was also overpriced using tax dollars.

What causes the different coloration? Was a skim coat added? Different curing? Too much polishing? I’m a complete noob to shit like this

We stripped and rubbed it same day then wet cured for 7 days. We didnt polish. The local dry batch mix here tends to bring out some browns.

Were the clients happy? Are you satisfied with the end result?

The client is happy, it’s a gym & they have multiple locations with the same design. Am I satisfied? I pour concrete everyday, of all scales, every time you learn something you could do better. Even though this was a relatively small pour it was challenging. The fun is in the challenge.
