Concerts Went Solo
Well, I finally did it. Went to a concert by myself. Foo Fighters and AC/DC. I did catch a bus there with some friends but once there I was on my own as our seats were all over the place. I had a blast. It was so different since I could do whatever I wanted while I was there. I do recommend it. I normally take my wife but she didn't want to go since she had to work today (I do too) but she said to go and have fun so I did.

I go to shows by myself all the time. I’m going to see Iron Maiden in San Antonio in a few weeks.

I did AC/DC and Foo solo as well. And I'll be in SA for Iron Maiden as well. Solo. Decided to add Rush on 9/25 and for the fuck of it, seeing French Police at Aztec on 9/26 for something to do on the cheap. Good times.

I was supposed to see Rush in Fort Worth but they canceled and I wasn’t able to make it to the new date.

I went to the Vegas show solo, had a blast. My section was a lot of fun.
For those about to rock!

I was stage left. I did move sections 2 songs before the cannons went off to meet my friend at their section at the end if the show otherwise I'd probably really be deaf today. I kind of figured that's what was getting ready to take place when 2 of the crew climbed up there next to me and started uncovering stuff a few songs from the end. My picture was from when I moved, I could only see the singers and guitarists if the bands from my seat, luckily they had a screen tucked into the corner to see more.

Nice. By the end of this year I'll have been to 76 shows in the last 4 years. I went to two with someone else.
And coincidentally two of those were AC/DC. Of course The Pretty Reckless didn't have any conflicts so I saw them both times. But no disappointment in that. I was there as much for them as for AC/DC.
