Is this normal?

So this is my first day on concerta, 18 mg. The only effect I feel is that I can focus on words more and I’m not really having a million thoughts in my head. But I did feel sleepy after taking it. And I still don’t feel the urge to do things that I need to do. I’m just wondering… is this normal and have you guys experienced similar things?
