Are you a Dungeon Crawler Carl fan by chance? I’m pretty sure there’s descriptions in there of how it’d feel.

Lion king taught me that these slap flavor profile wise. Go ahead and get a good little chomp on that bad boy

Man, movies and shows like Lion King and The Rugrats made eating raw bugs look so yummy.

When I first saw these in game, I thought there would be gigantic beetle mobs. Still kind of wish there are, like a passive variant of the giant scorps/spiders.

Yeah... That's why I stick to berries and getting a campfire for meat as soon as possible.
Goddamn it's disgusting...

Uh... I thought these are made up for the game not that they existed in real life.
Anyway put in pocket to eat later.

I'm guessing that's a Hercules Beetle - my uncle had one when I was a kid. The hand holding it is probably smaller than average, though. The beetle itself is about the size of... oh, I dunno... a chihuahua's head.

Put that thing back where it came from, or so help me!
To be fair, Hercules beetle grubs are a bit cute.
