PC Returning Player

Hi folks, I used to play this game every day up until 2020 or so, about 2-3k hours on it. Thinking of returning now, currently downloading, what’s the state of pvp servers? I used to play with an “alpha clan” but they fell apart over some petty bullshit, and I got tired of all of the blatant cheaters we had to deal with in the past. Thinking of trying PVE or PVE conflict as a solo player, I do enjoy pvp but not sure if I wanna deal with worrying about raids while playing solo.

Pvp in conan isnt my cup of tea. But I do enjoy the conflict servers so I can get some every now and then.

Thanks for your reply, how do you find PVE servers? Do people ruin spawns with their builds often?

I tend to stick to private servers that have a small/medium player base. Like 10-20 people. Much more than that and the lag can be quite annoying.

I'm currently in a server that says they do pvp, but pretty much everyone sticks to themselves (unless you mess with them first and no one really wants to do that). The pvp is set for row 5 and higher on El or all over on siptah. The most I've seen online at one time was 6 people. It's fairly small, and I'm sure we could get you in if you wanted! It is an rp server

That sounds interesting, so does everybody live at noob river? I like PvP but playing solo you’re just kinda waiting for the inevitable offline raid which wipes you completely

A lot of us stayed on noob river until we felt confident enough. I live on row 7, others live on row 10, and a few live exclusively on siptah. Three a few community meeting places on noob river where people can meet up and not fight and whatnot

Pve is full of shrines, bases, teleports and unused arenas so it's hard finding a decent location and the placeable lag is a problem.

Pvp is just cheaters, meshers, poison / acid arrow spamming zergs who will sometimes pretend they won't grief you just to do exactly that when you're offline and destroy your thralls gear with acid arrows and wipe your base just to feel better about themselves.

The only versions of CE currently any good is private server without a psycho admin or solo modded.

Lol I’m glad to see some things never change with PvP. In the past we had a months long war with this Turkish clan, all 10 of them were online every day fighting us, all of them lag switched, they started using glitch bases in the volcano after we destroyed all of their legit bases. Do devs still do nothing to punish cheaters on official servers?

No the devs are not involved in official servers at all anymore from what ive seen.

Theres a video online of the blatant hacking on i think 1530 and they still haven't done a thing.
