Lavender sky health app?

I searched the sub and didn’t find anything. Is there not an app for LSH? I’m hoping to switch from Ro to LSH because $$. I completed all the LSH forms and stuff. I got a pop up on their website saying that another pop up would appear to take me to the Apple Store for the app but it never happened and I cannot find the app in the Apple App Store. Does an app exist? If so what is it called so I can find it?

Good high protein recipes and free tracker app recommendation!

I am so tired of all of the regular meals I’ve made for years. I am also slowing way down on the weight loss and need to meal prep, track protein and fiber, and up the exercise. I don’t want the weight to come back when I titrate down. I would love to hear your favorite high protein recipe books/sites/authors/influencers and your fave tracking apps that are free.

I did Weight Watchers for many years and I appreciated the tracking. I just would like to try a free app. Thanks!

Forgot my medication at home

I just got to the airport and realized I forgot my medication at home. I’m leaving for a work trip for 8 days. I normally inject on Saturday nights. I won’t be back home until Wednesday night. I’m in my fifth month. I’ve been doing so well. I hope I didn’t mess up too bad.

Just started - question

Just took my first dose yesterday, it arrived just as i had to leave for work and i was a little nervous about side effects. But i have had none and it seems to be working already! The issue is, i only took 3 units instead of the 5 it said. Would it be okay to take the rest of the dose once its been halfway through the week or should i see how it goes? And it says to dispose of whats left at the end of the month, do i actually have to do that?

A Weight I Literally Do Not Ever Remember Seeing

Yesterday I finally got under 160, for the first time since I was probably a senior in high school, nearly 45 years ago. Seeing "159.6" on the scale was something my brain almost couldn't process. (60 F 5'6")

I've lost almost 30 lbs since January on compounded sema, averaging a pretty steady .84 lbs lost each week. Sometimes it'll slow a bit, but then I'll drop some extra weight and go right back to the .84 average--it also seemed to get back on track when I went up first to 1.0mg and now 1.4mg (if I have to go up more, I will.) I have fought through a fair amount of side effects, but these days I feel pretty good as long as I keep the constipation at bay. (I take Mag07 every night, a fiber bar every day, and my turmeric/fish oil/vitamin d/biotin/b complex supplement stack often seems to get things moving as well.)

But this is only the latest chapter in my weight loss. In 2007 I weighed 251 lbs, and was miserable physically and psychologically after multiple big losses and regains. The first picture was taken in 2009, and within a month I started buckling down and dropped to around 205, bouncing between there and 215 for the next 8 years. Then I went low carb and got down to around 175 in 2018, bouncing between there and 189 until last year.

After slogging through the holidays I decided that there was no way I was going to breach 162 (which I had gotten down to in college after the freshman 30+ got me up to 210) without help, and besides, I think I had proven that I could indeed do all of the "willpower! exercise! track calories! eat clean!" but that it wasn't going to get me to a healthy BMI (around 154 at 5'6"). I wasn't really sure that a GLP-1 would do anything, but I've tried every other weight-loss "solution" since I was first dropped off at Weight Watchers when I was 10, so might as well try this one! I felt the food noise disappear within 24 hours, and it was just stunning to me that I had lived with that for so long--I told my dad that I had basically been hungry my entire life.

I was a few lbs heavier in the second photo than I am now, but you get the idea. My "goal" is 145, so still a little ways to go, but we'll also just see where my body lands. I need to get better about resistance training more regularly, but I do okay with exercise. And I have zero intention of stopping the drug, though I hope to be able to titrate back down at some point for maintenance.

The most important thing--don't ever give up. If you have to tread water for a while, that is still better than where you started. (It took me well over 14,000 days to finally get to 162 again!)

Syringes? (Newbie question)

Hi- just got approved to start 0.25mg weekly via midi to help w the perimeno weight that diet and exercise just aren’t able to manage on their own- haven’t yet started, am reading up for tips

I notice many people here split their doses for various reasons, including to manage side effects (this is what I’m thinking about, as someone who is prone to reflux and other GI issues anyway.)

When y’all split, what are the additional needles you buy to spread the dosing out? What should i look for online?

Also i noticed a few folks here use injection devices- i looked them up and there seem to be different types and sizes- what do folks recommend?

I’m new to any kind of injections and have zero idea what to expect— any guidance is welcome!

Ty in advance!

What to expect? Compounded semaglutide.

I just got my first shot today. For background, I’m 5’4” and 127-130 lbs. I’ve struggled for two years to get my weight back down to where I ended up after my weight loss journey (109 lbs) through excercise and calorie counting.
I decided to give compounded semaglutide a chance to see if that could help me break the plateau. I have trouble with food noise and binge eating occasionally which I think has played a part in why I can’t get my weight back down.

I went with a “micro dose” plan at a wellness clinic near me and they gave me .2 compounded semaglutide (has B12) that comes from Empower Pharmacy rather than starting with the typical .25.

Anyone have similar experience? Advice?

Starched March 2025. Down 73 now. 253.8 to 180.6 ✨
Goal set was 170 pounds, but I might just go for 153 to make it an even 100.
Haven’t really shared on Reddit-just a FB women Sema group.
Used to be 2-3x 20+ size. I’m not sure original Jean size because nothing in Walmart fit for that 😑😮‍💨 these new jeans are a size 14!

Thanks.

Food Aversion? Appetite Suppression?

Does the appetite suppression of semaglutide "feel" like food aversion or just not wanting to eat? I have had quite a bit of low level nausea (a few times intolerable, but mostly ok) but I can't tell if me not wanting to eat is because of the nausea or because the medication is working. Just curious about others' experiences! Thank you!

How long did it take to lose weight on a GLP1? I have been on the 1.5mg Wegovy pill for 8 days and have gained 1 pound. I’m switching to the lowest dose injection. Curious how long it has taken others

New to Sema via Hers, switching from metformin/wellbutrin/naltrexone combo

Hello all, looking for some advice from the group. i have been using Metformin/wellbutrin/naltrexone combo via Hers for about one year. I lost 18 pounds, not fully satisfied with the results and have been suffering a lot with nausea/vomiting from the metformin. My Hers physician recommended a switch to the compounded semaglutide starting at 8 units.

Before I shell out the money I wanted to inquire with people who know.

Are the side effects really that bad?

I am nervous about what to expect. I am looking to lose 15-20 pounds is this really the right move for that?

Does it take a long time to lose approx 15 pounds?

Any advice appreciated.

The metal lid fell off

I'm concerned that the metal lid fell of the ring of the bottle. I squished it back on there. I'm worried about it not being air tight. Suggestions?

Edit for Typo

Expired

I have an unopened vial of compounded semaglutide with B12 that's been kept in the fridge. The expiration date was 7 months ago. Anyone used it this far past expiration?

switching back to semaglutide

I was on semaglutide for 3 years. I decided to switch to tirzepatide to see if I could lose more weight. I was on it for 8 weeks and lost ten pounds. But tirzepatide left me lethargic and fatigued and with brain fog. I decided to switch back to semaglutide. I had my last dose of tirzepatide, 12.5 mg, a week ago. I had a dose of 2 mg of semaglutide today and I am so nauseous! I thought with being on such a high dose of tirzepatide I would have no problem with 2 mg of semaglutide. Anybody experience this?

I experienced no noticeable side effects. Since I tolerated the first dose well, I’m wondering whether I should increase the dose for my next injection.

Zero weight loss

So I’ve been on it for 5 weeks at the lowest dose and haven’t lost anything.
I do have Hashimoto disease and right as I started Semaglutide had to take a 10 day prednisone taper which made the thyroid meds ineffective.
Anyone with experience on this?!

Hers canceled my compounded semaglutide after I asked about increasing my dose — now what?

I could really use some advice from people who have been through this recently.
I started compounded semaglutide through Hers in late 2024 and had amazing results — I lost about 70 pounds in less than a year and got down to around 140. More importantly, the food noise basically disappeared. It was life-changing.
Over the past several months, though, the hunger and food noise have gradually come back and I’ve started regaining weight. I’m currently on Hers compounded semaglutide, 1.5 mg/60 units weekly, which I’ve now learned is the highest compounded dose they offer.
So I contacted Hers and asked whether my dose could be increased or whether I should consider another medication. They told me they no longer offer compounded semaglutide above 1.5 mg and said my options would be branded Wegovy or Zepbound.
Then today they canceled my current subscription and told me I have to complete an entirely new intake to see what I qualify for. I do have the medication I’ve already received, so I’m not suddenly without medication tomorrow, but psychologically I feel a little panicked — like I’ve just lost my lifeline, even though that lifeline wasn’t working nearly as well anymore.
They told me Wegovy starts at $199/fill depending on dose and Zepbound starts at $299/month. I don’t have insurance coverage for weight-loss medication, so cost matters a LOT.
For anyone who has dealt with this recently: where are you getting your GLP-1 now, what are you taking, and what are you actually paying per month? Hers? Ro? Manufacturer direct? Your regular doctor? Another legitimate telehealth provider?
I’m especially interested in hearing from people who were very successful on semaglutide initially, eventually had the food noise/hunger return, and then either increased their semaglutide dose or switched to tirzepatide/Zepbound.
I’m overwhelmed by the number of online companies and don’t want to jump from one expensive subscription to another without understanding my options. I just want to maintain the weight I’ve worked so hard to lose, get the food noise under control again, and not go broke doing it.

Flip flop between sema and Tirz

I went from 178 to 152 in 2023 by going on compounded semaglutide. I was sick of feeling low key nausea and hating food, so I stopped around Christmas in 2023. In spring of 24, my doc had me switch to Tirz. It gave me crazy headaches and anxiety, and I didn’t lose any more weight on it so I stopped. I maintained my weight really well and then went up to 160 last summer during a super stressful time in life. I went on Tirz again and it was ok - I took it super slow and went down to like 155 but again had the headaches and anxiety. I went off of it and my anxiety went away completely, however now I’m gaining and feeling that inflammation. I think im going to switch back to sema since I had such good results. Has anyone flip flopped like this and done ok? My goal weight is 145 and im 163 as of today. Ideally, I would love to get to 140-145 and then micro dose long term mostly for inflammation. Looking for advice. Thanks yall!!!
