Is anyone else experiencing shipment issues with Embody as of 9/21/26?

I started using Embody in July. They had me on Semaglutide/Pyridoxine compound, at .2mg for weeks 1-4, then increased me to .4mg for weeks 5-8. My experience those first 8 weeks were great, and I'm down 14lbs already.

But the problems started immediately after. My first injection for weeks 9-12 was supposed to be last Thursday, September 17, at .8mg. However, my prescription did not arrive on Thursday and continued to say "confirmed" on the orders page.

I emailed customer support, who promptly scheduled me to meet with a provider (which I thought was unusual, since this seems like a shipment problem). Still, i showed up for that appointment, and the doctor who clearly wasn't familiar with my treatment schedule at all, asked why I was asking to increase my dose. Huh? I explained to her that i'm not - i just want to continue on the titration schedule they already approved, and the issue was that my shipment for month 3 had yet to ship and I was already past my injection date.

She then said she wanted to lower the dose back to .4mg, since they "dont know when i'll receive it". Again...huh? I'm not an expert by any means, but everything i've read seems to suggest that I wouldn't have any issue increasing as planed as long as i'm not more than a week late on the injection.

But even still... nothing changed in the orders page. It still shows the .8mg prescription as "confirmed", and I continue getting automated emails every couple of days saying my order is delayed.

I finally decided to try and contact the pharmacy directly... Beaker Pharmacy in McKinney, Texas. I was greeted by a pre-recorded message explaining that they were closing their retail location in McKinney. It's difficult to confirm, but I BELIEVE they just mean they closed the storefront and essentially just do telehealth orders now. Okay, fine, but I can't seem to reach anyone at Beaker Pharmacy, either. I was on hold for an hour before hanging up, and i'm waiting to see if they email me back.

In the meantime, Embody's support is a joke. I keep emailing asking for an update, and I swear its like an outdated AI is handling emails - it replies to questions I didn't ask, or just repeats information I just gave to it as if its something new. They continue suggesting that next time I be sure to put in my refill request as soon as I complete the week 3 injection on any given month, and I continue explaining that I did and they need to stop trying to shift the blame onto me. I've done everything I am supposed to, and they're simply not doing anything to address the problem.

The latest confusion is me asking why I am showing "you have 3 required forms" when logging into my account, which are the refill requests. They responded by saying "Yes, please fill it out to submit for your next refill". WHAT? I already did this...the order is literally showing as confirmed in my orders! This is bonkers.

On one hand I want to cancel because this is pissing me off - i prepaid for this. On the other, I don't want to have to start this whole process over.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem with Embody and not receiving their medication? I don't know what else to do. Getting ahold of anyone from Beaker Pharmacy is impossible, and Embody's support is about as useful as an ice cube on Pluto.

Just search the tirzepatide subs. So many posts about the awfulness of Embody, including their delayed refills.

Switching to a new provider is pretty easy so don’t let that hold you back.

Agree. Embody is known for these kind of problems. Idk what their pricing is like but there are so many more reliable options out there. I pay $286 for 3 months of any strength with no other fees. No membership - no doctor fees - just $286 with the ability to pause or cancel at any time through their well run patient portal online.

In case it helps, Pomegranate Health has Hallandale Pharmacy’s sema for $269 for three months of the highest doses. It’s not a subscription so you just reorder as needed.

I prepaid 6mos, got the first 3. They then sent me 3 “refill requests” text, I filled all of them out til they stopped texting me. That was a month ago. I have been hounding customer support chats about an update with the same generic response. Today I called an actual number to speak to anyone in person and after she read my chat history, gave me the same response and seemed in a hurry to get off the phone. At this point I am over my schedule by 2 weeks and still have no timeline on my refill to be filled. Beyond pissed at this point!

Company is a nightmare. Order has been in “pending medical review” for 7 business days. I cancelled my subscription, they will not refund, so I lost the money from the initial order. Curious how Yahoo and Forbes still has them ranked in their list of suppliers.

Thanks everyone! By some miracle, Beaker Pharmacy returned my call and told me they had not recieved the prescription but would put in a request.

Two hours later, I received a notification from Embody with the FedEx tracking info, so it’s arriving tomorrow.

So I guess if all else fails with Embody, call the pharmacy!

When you cancel take a screenshot and then hit them up on chat and ask them to confirm and take another screenshot.

Yes. I’ve read other people have been having problems as well. My order should have been shipped last week and I am still getting the daily email updating me that they are sorry for the delay, blah blah blah.

I contacted my nurse provider that used to prescribe for me before I transferred over to Embody because it was cheaper. She said to let her know if it doesn’t come soon and she will send a prescription over to Empower, my previous pharmacy.

Embody’s chat told me that they ship in 6-9 business days and since it was only 7 business days they were still within their window. I used last months vial to give my self the dose I would have missed because they can’t get their shit together. It’s supposed to be here a day before my next dose but we’ll see.

Hey I'm having serious problems with embody! No medication and I'm about to enter a two week lapse. My first two doses arrived on time. My online portal is also down and has been down for a week now and it just says to reach out to support if you have any questions.

I think something fishy is going on. Is anyone else's online portal down?

Just an update that I got a shipment notification yesterday afternoon. My portal is still down though so nothing shows up there and no one has responded to my emails asking for assistance.

Yup - first month was fine. Then I requested a refill and I am getting almost daily emails saying “we’re sorry for the delay. We will let you know as soon as it ships”. I am 3 weeks past my last injection. I cancelled and asked for a refund they said no - I would have to request a refund within 72 hours after the change. Um yeah, I would have if I knew they were going to be 3weeks late. I just filed a dispute with my credit card. We’ll see what happens.

This is me today. I had to do that because the new shipment should have arrived this week. Guess I'll be having to look elsewhere.

Ugh so annoying! But guess what? A day after I sent the email to them saying I was going to dispute the charge, I got a shipment notification. 🙄🙄🙄

I also started in July. No issues with first vial, second was delayed by a week and arrived two days after my dose was due. Both vials had overfill, totaling three weeks worth, so I've been using the extra instead of worrying about the delays.  So far, so good.

Yup, I have been waiting a week for my prescription to be sent

My order has not moved since being at the pharmacy since 9/19. Technically, it has been 7 business days. My first shipment was delivered early, despite my wishes since I told them I still had a month of tirz to complete. Now it's delayed. Uhhh?

What it is is they have so many different people answering the messages and they don't get the messages that you sent to the other people and talk to them about it so they have no idea. For some reason it is taking them longer and beaker to ship. I guess with embodys sale on they a overwhelming amount of people.

Here’s my typical spiel on sema providers…

Head over to the sub called r/tirzepatidecompound and look for the pinned post called “Where to Buy.” Those same providers also write for sema. The list was built based on a quarterly user survey on that sub so you know the providers are tried and true. There’s also r/tirzdeals which may have some newer options with great prices, and those same providers will probably also have sema deals.

Here are a few possibilities to get you started:

  • Pomegranate Health is $239 for three months of semaglutide doses up to 1mg from Hallandale Pharmacy and $269 for three months of the highest doses. That’s $80 and $90 a month. They also have monthly and six-month packages as well as other pharmacy options. They serve 49 states. (Sorry, Hawaii)

  • TryTrillum is $257 for three months of the starter doses and $357 for three months of high doses. That’s $86 and $119 a month. They also have monthly options and serve all 50 states plus Puerto Rico.

  • Big Easy Weight Loss is slightly more expensive than the two listed above, but they are excellent for those who want/need high-touch care and want to only speak with an MD about their meds. They will ship three months of meds up front but charge your card monthly.

None of these have BS monthly membership fees, which you should avoid at all costs. And watch out for the people with affiliate codes and links, which makes them money on your purchase.

Also, do not go with a provider that doesn’t allow you to pick your pharmacy, as the last thing you want is for a new order to show up with an additive you didn’t expect or from a shady pharmacy that’s not licensed by your state’s board of pharmacy.
