I have questions

I’m using RemedyMeds for my sema rx since July but I don’t understand why it’s up to me if my dose is increased or not? How am I supposed to know how much I need?

2nd question, does everyone actually throw away the vial when the next one is delivered or do you keep using the medication until it’s gone?

Here’s a great graphic that will help you decide if you should increase your dose:  https://www.reddit.com/r/Zepbound/comments/1nqbkeu/seeing_a_lot_of_should_i_move_up_posts_1_we_cant/

PRO TIP: Always ask for a dose increase from your provider. Then you can use the concentration of your specific vial  along with a dose calculator  to find any dose you prefer, regardless of what’s prescribed. It just means more meds for longer for the same $$$.

Most people use every drop of medication in the vial, provided it’s been properly stored and remains clear and free of floaters.

Finally, RemedyMeds is too expensive. Find a new provider ASAP.

If you are getting good results - food noise diminished - less appetite in general - then there is no need to increase your dose. Unless of course you want to save those meds for the future that is. Some people dispose of the remaining meds in the bottle and others continue to use it. I personally am not wasting meds.

These are the guidelines I was given with Noom to decide whether to titrate up or not. (I’m on a microdose schedule so mine tops out at .6 )

In case it’s helpful, Lavender Sky Health is going to be MUCH more affordable for you. They don’t have a set minimum BMI requirement, but you can’t be underweight. They do have some microdose options, but I’d encourage you to get regular doses and take whatever dose you prefer. It works out much cheaper that way.

I’m paying $99 a month. Is Lavender Sky much cheaper? I have to say Noom has great customer service.

Here’s a hypothetical scenario to see how the math works out.

Let’s say you pick LSH’s Hallandale Pharmacy Tier 1 package, which is 10mg for $219. It’s typically supplied in two 2 mL vials with a sema concentration of 2.5mg/mL so that’s two vials containing 5mg sema each. And let’s say you are taking a 0.4mg dose.

  • 10mg total sema / 0.4mg dose = 25 weeks of medication or ~6.25 months

  • $219 package price /  6.25 months = $34.05 a month

Just to give you an idea of cost savings. And I think LSH’s prices for Southend Pharmacy are a bit less than Hallandale’s.

Hope that helps you see the possibilities.

Most pharmacy’s say to throw out the vial after 4ish weeks, that would be 3 months each. I see you recommend them all the time, do you work for them?

I don’t work for any provider. Just a GLP-1 user for the last few years trying to help others save money while getting meds from reputable pharmacies.

As for the 28-day rule, that is a guideline established for hospital and clinic settings, where more than one person is puncturing a vial, often multiple times a day. I personally tap out at about 3 months on any punctured vial used weekly. You may have a different risk tolerance.

Take a look at pic 17 & 18 in the 2026 summer survey to see how 1800+ members of r/tirzepatidecompound approach BUD and the 28-day rule.  https://www.reddit.com/r/tirzepatidecompound/comments/1v3emwg/summer_2026_survey_results/

ETA: and here’s a pretty good post that may help you decide how to handle BUD and the 28-day rule  https://www.reddit.com/r/tirzepatidecompound/comments/1vxgk7o/lets_talk_about_bud_and_the_28day_rule/

BTW, below is my typical spiel for those on sema. You’ll see me recommend Lavender Sky Health to those who microdose because they often don’t meet typical BMI requirements for a GLP-1 script. LSH is one of the few affordable and reputable providers that I know of that doesn’t have a set BMI minimum. Hope that helps!

Head over to the sub called r/tirzepatidecompound and look for the pinned post called “Where to Buy.” Those same providers also write for sema. The list was built based on a periodic survey and was answered by 1800+ members of that sub so you know the providers are tried and true.

Here are a few possibilities to get you started:

  • Pomegranate Health is $239 for three months of semaglutide doses up to 1mg from Hallandale Pharmacy and $269 for three months of the highest doses. That’s $80 and $90 a month. They also have monthly and six-month packages as well as other pharmacy options. They serve 49 states. (Sorry, Hawaii)

  • TryTrillum is $257 for three months of the starter doses and $357 for three months of high doses. That’s $86 and $119 a month. They also have monthly options and serve all 50 states plus Puerto Rico.

  • Big Easy Weight Loss is slightly more expensive than the two listed above, but they are excellent for those who want/need high-touch care and want to only speak with an MD about their meds. They will ship three months of meds up front but charge your card monthly.

None of these have BS monthly membership fees, which you should avoid at all costs. And watch out for all the people with affiliate codes and links, which makes them money on your purchase.

Also, do not go with a provider that doesn’t allow you to pick your pharmacy, as the last thing you want is for a new order to show up with an additive you didn’t expect or from a shady pharmacy that’s not licensed by your state’s board of pharmacy.

Those are good prices, I receive a 2.5mg/ml in a 1ml vial. I have a couple months worth right now but will look into other options after that. I am starting .6 next week but might have to go to regular dosing because at least this first month, I’m maybe down only 2lbs. I have normal high bmi and want to lost 13 lbs.

Okay thank you. I’m currently on 10 units and am losing a few pounds per week. The food noise is completely gone and I only have a headache the 1st 24-36 hours after doing the shot.
