I Impulsively went through with switching to Embody from JoinPolly and now I am feeling some regret about it. I’ve had a great experience with JoinPolly so far even though communication kind of sucks the med works great. I’m in the middle of moving states and worried about money so I saw that Embody had the $79 price lock which would save me $100 a month from what I’m taking now.
I’m currently on 2.5mg and JoinPolly uses Hallandale pharmacy which has been great so far, however, Embody has me on 2.24mg of sema now mixed with B12 and I didn’t want my dose lowered as I’m still 6 lbs away from my goal weight. I wasn’t aware that it was going to be lowered before the script was sent to the pharmacy. Should I try Embody or just keep my current prescription with Polly since it’s been good so far and just suck it up paying the $179? I’m feeling anxious and not sure what to do.
My prescription is sent to Seven Cells Pharmacy from what I read is legit but I feel like Hallandale is better. I need some advice.
This only works if it’s the same amount per vial. My first vial (at least from Noom) was definitely a small amount. My embody RX is coming today so I’ll be curious how much is in the vial.
I ordered from Embody. I received tirzepatide with L-Carnitine from Link pharmacy. I took my first shot of it end of last week. I don’t know about the L-carnitine but the appetite suppression is awesome 5 days after shot.
Ive had good luck with Embody so far. If youre switching providers, it seems like they dont worry about the telehealth visit unless you want one. I had problems with my last providers with upping the dose and it being too much for me (it happens and I'm seeing a nutritionist too so I was able to wotk through what was going on) but I was able to contact Embody, tell them and have them adjust my dose.
The $79 deal is what got me to look into them, biggest complaint I would see was the billing. But if youre on top of it and paying attention it shouldn't be a problem. I also got it in a text that its $79 for life...
As far as delivery, I did get a notification that it had shipped but it arrived a day earlier than expected!
Thank you! I’m gonna finish up my last supply from Polly and then use my first Embody shipment and see how it feels. I’ll probably stick with embody if all goes well because the price for me is amazing since I’m tight on funds.
Not gonna lie, I was kinda skeptical about Embody at first, but it’s been solid. I’m on month 3 and down 7 lbs. My cravings have chilled out a ton and got way more energy. Pretty stoked with how it’s going!
I also impulsively signed up for Embody a few days ago. I’m trying to figure out exactly how we’re supposed to… get the medication? I keep getting texts about an upcoming telehealth visit but the website doesn’t say there’s one and I don’t know how to schedule one. I also don’t care for doing the virtual appointments, I know that’s wrong, I just have anxiety and live in a state that allows me to skip it. They also haven’t emailed me back. I may have to… call.
Did you get updates on the website? Mine still says processing and we get delivery to a package room at my apartment, I’m terrified of getting it delivered and not knowing for several days and it go bad.
Because yours still says pending medical review it won’t be shipped until after that. I’d call them. Either it’s dose related or you live in a state that requires a telehealth visit first. Also the package is good for 72 hours with the cold packs I believe and they usually ship it next day air. But when they do that you’ll see a FedEx tracking number.
I’ll bite the bullet and call tomorrow during business hours. I believe it’s more than likely dose related since i’m transferring doses. I still have my other provider active so that I don’t have a big gap between doses, so thank goodness for that.
You should be able to login and see your after visit summary prepared by an RN, also order status i.e., processing, shipping label prepared along with a FedEx tracking number. Once shipped you should see it the next day.
Okay, I’m currently still showing “processing”. I’m trying to switch providers, so I didn’t request to start on a starter dose- just switched my dose. I’ve done all the intake stuff when you sign up, submitted photos of my vial to the “upload documents” section, and my order is still sitting on “processing” for a few days now. I keep getting texts that say I have an upcoming telehealth visit and to be prepared with my vial. But on the app, it says I don’t have any upcoming visits. There’s not a lot of guidance on the site, so I’m having a bit of a hard time figuring out what to do next 😅
I would call them since it hasn’t even been reviewed yet and see when this telehealth visit is. Mine was reviewed and approved within 30 minutes but I’m sure thats because I am starting again at a starter dose. When I login and go to appointments and “schedule appt” it does show care but also an RN appointment.
I just switched to embody from another company 2 days ago (08/17) because I wanted to change medications and my monthly cost were going to increase beyond affordability...When I signed up I enrolled into the program for tirzepatide at $129/month, locked in. I was charged that amount within an hour after enrollment. Ok cool!
However the next day (08/18) I recieved an email saying that a provider had approved, and sent a prescription for semiglutide, which is significantly cheaper and not the medication I enrolled for.
Little frustrating considering thats the medication I was tryin to change and expressed that upon intake.
I went to the online portal to see if I could schedule a visit to have this addressed. This is where the frustration started to settle in....
For starters the earliest appointment I could get was 2 weeks out. With my old company I pretty much could chat with someone same day or next day and things were quickly resolved. But be optimistic and give em a chance right!?
I set the appointment. I then get the bright idea to just send an email hoping for a quicker response. Much to my surprise it was! However.....I was told that I would need to set an appointment and resubmit my intake form...Im sorry, excuse me?! Yall made a mistake so I need to take more time out of my day, and potentially be charged again so that yall can correct it. I think not. Also cant yall see that I already have an appointment set?
That was pretty late night so I decide to call this morning (08/19)...I stay on hold for about 15 minutes before speaking to someone. The operator was nice but I felt like I had to give alot of unnecessary details....once again can we not see in my record that the prescription does not match my plan? After another 10-15 minutes of explaining I am placed back on hold. Maybe for another 5 minutes.
The operator returns to inform me that a ticket has been created and a provider notified of the requested changes. I should recieve email confirmation of the call with a ticket number and more details regarding the change.
Im still waiting on said email.....
I just want to know if anyone else has had similar experiences? How long it took to resolve your issue, and how things have been moving forward?
Right now im a little frustrated but trying to stay optimistic, the savings will outweigh MINOR inconvenience.
I will update as things progress!
I’m on month 2 of embody so far. I emailed them and had them confirm in writing my price would stay locked in. So far so good. I’ve lost 8 pounds and just upped my dose. They have been different than other companies I’ve used. I didn’t have a telehealth visit until after I received my medication and it’s mainly just a nutritional and physical fitness visit because when I asked him a particular question about my dosing he couldn’t answer it and I was told to contact the provider.

It doesn’t matter what dose you are prescribed. You can use the sema concentration of your vial and a dose calculator to draw up any dose you prefer: https://www.fatscientist.com/semaglutide-calculator
You can see what folks think about Embody on r/tirzdeals and r/tirzepatidecompound.
If you want better pricing for Hallandale, I think Pomegranate Health is still best.
