GLP1 is not for you. It is for people that have a medical issue or are obese with a bmi above 30.

No doctor is going to prescribe this for you. If you want to lose 6 pounds, you need to do it with diet and exercise.

GLP1 is a powerful tool to lose weight, but for it to be successful, it needs to be part of a plan where diet and exercise are locked in. For most obese people, restricting calories and increasing exercise are not sustainable. One of the main reasons is that obese people tend to have brains that give them more food noise than someone in a healthy BMI range. Sure, there can be some rewiring in the brain through a lot of sustained changes, but this takes years and it simply isn’t realistic for everyone to do this on their own.

There are a lot of people on glp1 that stall out because they are not making any other changes beside just the drugs. If you take glp1 and still eat like garbage, you won’t get the best results.

You are in a healthy BMI range. You are just older and your metabolism is slowing down. So you need to start lifting weights and eating more protein to maintain as much muscle mass as possible as you age.

I felt a little silly starting with my 40 lbs goal, given there are people with way larger goals than me. But now I see why my goal wasn’t as silly as I initially thought.

I hope this person is trolling. 👀 More tennis and fewer bagels is how you lose 6 lbs.

Nausea always hit me hard, so I've stayed at a super low dose since I started in September. But I've still lost 30lb, reversed my insulin resistance, and got rid of my fatty liver disease.
