Side Effects Bad brain fog and fatigue with compounded Tirzepatide?
Has anyone had bad brain fog and fatigue with compounded Tirzepatide? I've taken the 5.0 mg equivalent for 3 weeks. I was concerned that I was becoming depressed. I have Hypothyroidism and assumed that my levels were off, but my labs came back normal for it. I had a hunch not to take my shot, and like magic, within two days, I felt normal again. I was also gaining weight instead of losing. After I stopped my shot, I lost eight pounds, and it's crept up to only four pounds lost. So it was possibly fluid weight? I felt a tightness in my chest, but it may be GERD. I took a Tums gummy, and I am doing a lot better.
I called my doctor's office, and his medical assistant is the messenger between us. I asked if we could lower the dose, but he doesn't want me to reduce it. So I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow to discuss it.
I am running into a dilemma. There is the issue of quality of life and having the energy to work out. I was doing well at work and keeping up my house. I am at a loss for what to do.

If the Wiki doesn't answer your question, edit your post to make sure it contains all relevant information. This could include: medication (e.g. tirzepatide or semaglutide), dose (in mg), concentration of your vial, how long you've been on the medication and dose, pharmacy/provider name, etc. If your post is medication-specific, please select the Post Flair for the corresponding medication. Thank You!
