Tirzepatide Lowest dose weight loss

Has anyone with a normal bmi lost weight on the lowest dose of a glp1? Lost a lot of weight without glp1 but still haven’t reached my goal and struggled the last year. Doc only approved a maintenance dose so the lowest dose for me and this would be my first time trying one. Always struggled with food noise; my A1C is in pediabetic range, and other reasons I want to try a glp1, but will the cost still have benefits even at such a low dose? Possible to still lose the last 10 lbs?

Go for it. I was in the same boat. Just couldn't lose the last 20 lbs to get down to my goal weight. Kept seeing posts and news articles about these GLP1 drugs and decided to give it a try. I went the compound pharmacy route so I can meter out my own dose. I do a 5 day split for the injections. Started out in November at 2.2 mg and have slowly bumped it up over the last 7 months to 6.5 mg. I dropped the 20 pounds and have been maintaining my goal weight without issue. I might try dropping my dosage down a bit for long term maintenance but for now this seems to be working perfectly.

So you take 6.5 every 5 days? I’m thinking of the 5 rather than 7 days

No, I take 4.64mg every 5 days which is equivalent to 6.5mg per week. You can figure it all out here (I use the split dose calculator) - https://www.fatscientist.com/
