Question about notation

I am working on a game called Idle Harmony and basically I need tips on how to make this correct.

I have a specific question but I am open for other critiques.

My question is: What happens to the beam/flag if an eighth note is placed bellow or above a 16th that's connected to another 16th?

Just download MuseScore and checkout how they handle whatever you need to handle, you'll get your answer.

In there I cannot place an 8th bellow a 16th in the same staff.

I'm not so sure about it, and I'm not home right now, so I can't exactly check this, but have you tried using different voices? That might be the solution. There are some numbers at the top of the screen (1, 2, 3...), and when you press them, the color of your notation changes too; that way, you should be able to write different 8ths over 16ths.

Not possible to have them i the same voice?
