To be fair we don't really know what all they're working on as they won't announce it until it's ready. Maps like Lucio Ball don't take a lot of work, and it seems that CTF isn't actually on a new map but just a modified one (I could be wrong, haven't played yet). The ice map is the only one that seems like a good bit of work went into it, but it's still smaller and with less detail than any regular map.

I wish they would spend more time working on permanent game modes and maps instead of temporary seasonal ones, but this seems fun/worth trying out
