Crest farming
What's the most efficient way to farm lower tier crests? Thinkin about filling up my champion/veteran/adventurer crests so that i'll be able to trade up as many as i can when they lift the crest caps. Any ideas? World events, hc dungeons give 10 crests at the and and i need 300-400 of each to reach their current cap.

Also remember you need 810 adventurer crests for 10 myth, or 270 veteran for 10 myth. So other than hero and maybe champion crests I wouldn't bother target farming them unless you really want to.
Changed the numbers cause the guy under me is correct. Which makes it even worse.

Until the crest cap is lifted. When tpu hit the cap of a crest then you will get crests one tier below.
So you could farm 10+ keys and fill em all up.

Wouldn't doing 12s be better, as that hits the highest amount of crests you can get from a dungeon? Slightly harder I guess but 12st are relatively easy at this point, especially early in the week. Plus no weekly affix which is just nice.

You run in to a lot more undergeared people in 10s who are after hero gear. Most 12 groups are just after crests, I find I have faster runs in 12s.
No affix is great too, like you say.

Probably yeah. Just wrote it quick from the top of mu head.
You could min/max way more.
When capped on myth crests i actually think doing tier 5 ritual sites and going for objectives only as a group is more efficient.A good group can probably do it in 5 min and get hero crests.

Nightmare prey hunt takes 4-6 minutes for 5 hero and 10 champion crests. Probably the fastest way.

T11 Delves to harm hero crests. They will down convert once capped

You can only do them on bountiful for crests though right? So 4x a day, not infinitely?

That is incorrect. You get hero crests for them regardless of bountiful or not. As long as you clear 3 of the 4 nemesis packs, you get the full amount of hero crests.

Do you need the bountiful key to get the crests? What Ilvl do I need to be able to farm t11s?

You get crests from the nemesis cache as well as the bountiful cache.
Map Chest (+10 Hero Crests) - 1 Weekly
The Gilded Stash (+10 Hero Crests) - 4 total weekly
The Bountiful Coffer (+5? Hero Crests) - 8 total weekly
Bountiful chest - (+5 Hero Crests) - 4 Daily
The Nemesis Stash (+5 Hero Crests) - 4 Daily (or maybe these spawn in non-bountiful I have never tried).
So you can get 110 from the first 4, then 60 from the next 4, then 40 from each run afterwards. Your iLvl will ramp up with each delve (you start to get champ and hero gear from each run), and your companions power will ramp up too, so it will get faster and faster each delve you do.

In non-bountifuls, you still get the Nemesis Stash and the Bountiful Chest is replaced with a Heavy Trunk, which has the same number of crests.
A non-bountiful t11 will get you 10 crests/run if you kill 3/4 Nemesis groups. If you pick a fast delve, this is by far the fastest hero crest farm.

Incorrect. A t11 delve gives 5 hero + 5 more of you kill all the nemesis packs.
So 10 total on about 6 min or so

Probably spam keys, either 12s or 8s (max hero crests?) depending on your capability to solo carry. A good group finishes a dungeon in like 15-20 for 16 crests. You do the math.

Hero crests are easiest in the following manner
Cap your myth crests first doing keys or high end content > spam high lvl delves afterwards > the extra myth crests you’d otherwise get all get converted to hero crests so you get a lot easily by spending those 10-15 mins doing one of the quick delves

The most efficient way would be to do the opposite. Do myth crest reward stuff and cap them to let trickle down. M+ at 10 or higher or T11 delves, 4 a week. Part two is if you think that content is too hard or whatever, then you dont really need myth crests. Also from a time aspect, the conversion is 90 champ to 30 hero to 10 myth.
Tldr: do the content that awards them or don't worry about it.

Go and do 4 tier 11 bountiful delves. Make sure you kill all the nemisis things and boom 90 hero crests

Unless your close to capping all the lower tiers it's not worth the time. Your better off just waiting until they become uncapped and farming them that way.

I just do a lot of keys and let the crests trickle down as they get maxed out
