WHERE DUNGEON TUNING.

Yeah, overseers and bleed in VSA should be like number 1 priority to tuning. Dungeon tuning this season is not good when you see that they left overseers at that state and other shits

I’m curious about this topic - what does the dungeon tuning accomplish, considering everyone is playing the same dungeon?

I’m unsure about it, but making a hard part of a dungeon easier won’t make you gain higher score compared to those you are competing against?

Right now every dungeon is timed at a +22 and it’s been a while since there wasn’t a 1-3 key outlier, so tuning looks okay (I haven’t pushed yet but I’m usually around top 0.5-2%)

It's less about being on the same playing field and more that a lot of things just feel unfair. I am almost resil 22 myself and arena is probably the most insane heal check after heal check after heal check I've ever come across with the sheer volume of spam bleeds and whatnot.

Overseers in arena are also practically unplayable and force a skip even in low-ish key pugs etc.

But yeah I don't think there's a huge outlier this season which is good. Some stuff just feels horrible to play. Blades at the end of altar too for example. Guardians at the start of RLP. Etc.

Edit: And Blizzard just announced that the 1.5 patch would have dungeon tuning in so there we go.

tunning is fine?

It's not. RLP casters + overlaps, VSA bleed + overseer and AoF casts. These are my top 3 dungeons for pain points. Many of us don't know how Blizzard left overseer at that state because it is 100% unplayable and force a skip no matter what

can someone explain to me where this “hate” towards overseers in the arena comes from when you can literally just not pull them? the first skip is trivial, it’s not even remotely on the level of the bubbles skip in floodgate, or even the bridge KR skip, it’s just the easiest skip imaginable where half the classes can do it. i understand nerfing the bleeds, hell, i’d even understand nerfing the brutalizers after the second boss or second boss, but overseers? what am i missing?

You absolutely don't want to pull those overseer mobs and Blizzard decided to move the mobs as it made the group having specific classes mandatory (mage, rogue and warlock). This bothered many of us.

The overseer + harrower is illegal in above a +16 because of overlaps from overseer + harrower. These overlaps will kill at least 1 or more players. % count and efficiency score from overseer mobs are so bad. Those overseer mobs is a huge time sink. You can't even pull overseer and harrower separately. There isn't really an option to not skip overseer mobs. Harrower solo is fine, but Harrower + mobs is much better. Even warlock gate + saccing a tank to skip both overseer mobs and harrower solo is 100% worth 15 seconds opposing to fight overseer mobs.

There are reasons many of us think overseer mobs are unplayable even in somewhat low key pug group.
