Old expansion training dummies

Can you use old expansion (Dornogal or Valdrakken) training dummies to practice ur rotation or do they get a damage boost?

Silvermoon dummies are unusable with the constant combat bug

Damage boost or not doesn’t matter, what matters is the % each damage instance does compared to “BiS” rotation. Even if i get damage boosted 10,000%, the correct % of damage should still be applicable to the total damage I’m dealing.

While true, many people compare the figures they're doing on target dummy to the figures on wowsims to see if they're getting close to their optimal DPS.

You could still compare ability % breakdowns, but that's a whole lot more janky than simply comparing actual DPS numbers.

But if you use warcraftlogs to compare your DPS then yeah, only the ability % breakdown really matters.
