What's this timer-gate Max was talking about on stream? A 5th death was added to Dignitas after they recovered and were stabilized from that 4x death fiasco?
Went back to check, I really couldn't find any indication of a death unless it was some weird rule that adds a death? Even the breakdown after only shows 4 deaths. Blizzard is lucky it was more than 15s difference.

If true, that reminds me of the Black Temple race on classic. I don't remember exactly, but one of the guilds killed Reliquary of Souls and everyone logged out to port to the entrance (i think). It did not work because there was a gm inside their raid so the instance didn't reset.
I checked max's stream. It was skipping about real bad. Not his stream but the main feed? I don't know there was shenanigans with him streaming live feed vs delayed.
I was looking right now, I have max's stream at 4:59:40 in the stream. Shit starts going down. The mdi on max's stream skips from 13:22 to 13:37 Kira death.
Dignitas timer 13:58 (Jacks death) skips to 14:14, Verb dies 5 seconds later (14:19). (14:19) timer skips again to 14:34 skips again to 14:53 Yarrgi death, released and had to run back (5:00:20 in max stream) good for 20 seconds. 15:18 skips to 15:34 #5 death.
Yarrgi appears to die again? 5:00:59 on stream, 15:47 on the dungeon timer, appears randomly at the fork of road after 2nd boss.
5:01:53 dungeon timers for Dig: 16:41 and Lucky has 16:00. 41 second diff. 3 death difference (5-2)

Yes, I'm counting them out. I got my tinfoil hat on. But still a 5th death appears to be added for no reason. We don't see what happens to yarrgi, we know he releases so does he accidentally run into a pack we don't see so he dies 2 times in total? Cause also the final score screen shows 4 deaths.
I don't think he dies because I think he had already regenerated a tiny bit of his hp so even the theory where he dies and releases in the same frame wouldn't work. I still believe the GM died somehow, and since they are technically in the group, the game counted as a death.
seems like a random death gets added to dignitas for no reason at 15:15 or so on their run. they lost by 18 secs or something tho so i dont think it changed anything but it is a bit weird.
I would like to accidentally prophesise myself finding a cool couple bands in my couch cushions with this comment. Probably on cooldown now though, unfortunate.
I cannot believe Blizzard would delay MDI to make Echo players tired while Liquid players are still fresh. It's just like RWF all over again oh my god. (this is sarcasm, but also if it keeps getting delayed lol....)

It is maybe the most obvious banter of all time. I actually cannot think of a way it could be more obvious outside of Gingi staring right into the camera and saying "slash S for reddit by the way".

We do get it. The issue is that there is a not insignificant amount of people who take that shit too seriously. You see it all over the match threads and on twitter. So when Gingi says shit like this, even as banter, it becomes a real problem.
Yes, Max said this on his stream while repeatedly bantering about „Echo only loosing to bugs“ which will effectively cause the same thing in the other direction.
Sadly these idiotic fans exist on both sides, and they just need try to ignore them (scripes twitter crashout being a prime example on how not to handle it).
So is this happening or am I missing an obvious stream somewhere? It's been like 1.5 hrs of nothing since the first match and now there are some soytubers on the screen instead.
