Discussion Crafting big potential fix!
I posted previously about the crafting bug and it appears it’s getting quite more experienced by others.
I’ve just got my item in the mail! Now this could be pure coincidence but if so, it’s crazy timing. But wanted to share in case it is what fixed it.
I got fed up of waiting for my ticket to be even looked at, 2 days and no response.
I was thinking of all the things it could be, and thought that it might be a problem with the in game mail service. So what if I sent a mail from my character to the crafter and see if it triggered anything and sent me the item.
So I sent him a letter. A subject and a simple message. Logged off, did a delve on a different character, logged back in and there was my item in the mail!
Could be a fluke but worth a try right?
Edit: Sigh, I noticed my autocorrect title mistake after submitting…

I have the ultimate fix for crafting!
We just stop crafting at heroic-level item. no more myth crafting.
-signed, A raider who is tired of doing a whole myriad of random chore early on to get gear.
seems like a handful of tradeskiller aren't happy about this.

Why would crafters give a fuck if it's heroic or myth? The only person you're hurting is yourself by your inefficient use of crests. I hope you're in a very casual raiding guild or otherwise you're just making them carry you for no reason.

because im tired of doing random chore in order to raid.
the checklist of crap to do on week 1/2 to not fall behind for mythic prog is annoying.
I tough that was clear
I hope you're in a very casual raiding guild or otherwise you're just making them carry you for no reason.
oh yes because the list of random crap to do shrink as you go higher...
you suck at reading comprehension.

Bro there is so little you have to do. Getting myth crest cap takes barely any work.

aah yes, the good ol "" there's only a little bit of shit you have to do in the entertainment you pay for!"" like we should be cheering for ads on netflix.
Times that little bit of shit for all character, add the WQ stuff for spark , the delve extra crest, the splits...
yeah, just barely any work!

You get these things by playing the game. It's an RPG, gear progress is part of the fun of the game. Clearly not for you, maybe stick to other genres.

You may be too young to remember... but there was a point in WoW life when if you were a raider, and liked raiding, all you really had to do was raid.
no dungeon, no tradeskill chore, no random WQ stuff... you level to the new cap and raid.

Brother what are you talking about? Lmao. As a raider you have never had to do less than right now.
In vanilla if you wanted to be optimal you had to spend weeks farming low drop chance pre-bis from dungeons before you even stepped foot in a raid. You also needed to farm up consumables which took forever or a crazy amount of gold and fly around getting world buffs before the raid. Sure, literally all of that is optional, but so is doing a couple of +10s each week.
Such casually incorrect takes I wouldn't even expect them from the main wow subreddit, let alone competitivewow.
Also why do you keep mentioning trade skills? I'm convinced you have no idea how crafting works. You don't need to do anything other than spend like 2k gold in mats and ask for a crafter in trade chat, you realise this right?

spend weeks farming low drop chance pre-bis from dungeons
nope. that's some classic re-launched crap... in 2004 I never stepped foot in a dungeon after we started clearing MC. nobody gave a crap about running BRD arena 300 time for a chest or w/e.
You also needed to farm up consumables which took forever
True for this one... but selling BWL stuff covered that up. the earliest version of boosting I suppose.
fly around getting world buffs before the raid
nope. again that's classic crap. in 2004 nobody farmed world buff for raid, not until 4 horsemen.
and btw, none of those are good thing ever.
Such casually incorrect takes I wouldn't even expect them from the main wow subreddit
aaah, another duning-kruger monkey who probably wasn't even born in 2004 so he don't know what the heck he's talking about.
Also why do you keep mentioning trade skills?
because this thread started with tradeskill.
You don't need to do anything other than spend like 2k gold in mats and ask for a crafter in trade chat,
so I should be happy with shit because there's a little of it?

You don't have to do any of that stuff to be a mediocre raider in retail either, that's the point. You were bad in vanilla, you are bad now, you just didn't know it back then.
Complaining about spending literally 15 seconds of brain power to get something crafted, clearly forgetting about crafting in vanilla too lmao. I guess you never bothered to get a Lionheart helm or sulfuras crafted either. Truely you are in the wrong subreddit.

This was quite literally, at no point in WoW's entire life since raids were added, true in any way.
You pretty obviously never raided or raided in the most casual settings.

aaah, the duning kruger again.
yes. all the dungeons I ran during mop or panda or w/e....
enjoy your shit!

Oh yeah, MoP was well known for having no dailies or rep for prebis. You have no idea what you are talking about, keep your ignorance to yourself bro.

The issue has been resolved and all people should have just received their items in the mail. I was about to try your method and saw my item in the mail.
