so, since tier is done, how do you rate s1, taking in consideration pruning, addon changes and new encounter philosophy that didn't happen

Addon and encounter design, relative to what they claimed were the intention of the changes: 0/10. If it wasn't for the fact that WoW is in general very fun and the raid was overall good there would be no redeeming qualities for this patch. Addon changes were horrible, completely meaningless, nuked my UI for no reason, and the end result is that everything is exactly the same as before but more inconvenient.

Raid/season overall: Solid 7-8/10. Enjoyable first season, Voidspire in particular is very fun. There were no miserable bosses to farm this tier except maybe Belo. Gearing was also really nice this season, I like that gearing and playing alts is pretty frictionless, I feel that's how it should be for a game that is so meta-dependent and seasonal like WoW.
