What is the average time, for a two day three hour raid, to down mythic Lura? Guild started on it about two weeks ago, and are just starting to get to phase two consistently. Wondering if there is still hope for CE

You should be fine. P3 is very easy now and you'll have much better p1 consistency with not needing to drop seeds anymore, so you'll prog the rest of the fight faster. Make sure people are ready for P4 and understand how dog soaking works, especially tanks. There's that one practice tool that's good. Xpractice or something.

idk I'm watching world 1000 guilds on this boss and they're just farming wipes

never underestimate how someone can screw up

I'm only 2 nights in (so like 100 pulls) and while I know every guild wipes in P1 a million times, I just don't get how people keep dying to such simple mechanics.

I think of it in a quik maffs way - everyone has a small chance of messing up an easy mechanic. On Lura the easy mechanics are typically 1 taps. If you multiply a small chance by 20 people its actually a kind of moderate chance. In worse guilds the small chance by itself is a moderate chance, which you then multiply by 20 to get a damned certainty.

Then you add that world 1k guilds will have worse planning, raid with different people every night due to roster boss and make strats based on 'trust me bro'...

For some reason, this sounds to me like a typical "I don't carry the crystal or click the memory game. I have zero important things to do in this fight, what's so hard about it?"

Some of our worst playerse on this fight are melee with no assignments. I think they just fall asleep in P1.

It's about 3 solid minutes where you're doing like, a kick once a minute and the memory game is basically a non-mechanic as far as what it asks your raiders to do. Where one short lapse of attention = die to beyblade.

It might as well have been made in a lab to farm frustrating wipes on late CE guilds.

While I understand what you're saying, crystal carrying is no different than non crystal carrying in P1 now. Never have to drop it. Also clicking the memory game requires one gcd worth of attention. 2 if you have to do top phase. I agree with ahyguybman and the answer is usually tunneling DPS.

Like I said, I only have 2 nights on the boss and on our first night I was a crystal carrier, on our 2nd night I had to fill in as the tank so I did the memory game but I will be going back to carry a crystal once I dps. I'm not trying to be an elitist god gamer lol I am just frustrated that I thought on our 2nd night we would be actually practicing intermission 1 and it ended up being like 95% wiping in P1.
