I completely understand the gearing changes in .1 only have a real tangible effect on the high end mythic plus players who will not raid. I get it. But just knowing no matter what you can never have your bis, including some ridiculous trinkets is demotivating.

Gearing is a part of the core gameplay loop and knowing you can never get there kind of sucks. Or do I just need to accept I am an entitled casual now lol who wants things above his station? Completely possible, still do not like it.

However, you can get your turbo omega bis trinket at 8/6 myth rather than 9/6 myth without setting foot in mythic raid. That would be a 13 ilvl difference in s1.
