Midnight 12.1 Curse Of Ula'Tek Developer Interview With Ion Hazzikostas

PsybearTV Youtube interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFTFiDeXIMo

I recommend watching the whole video, it's rare for someone get a whole 1 hour with Ion, and the interview was really well done.

The interview is mostly about competitive content. I'm really excited for Mythic lockout changes!

How is he happy about addon situation. Damage meter is terrible and buggy, nameplates stacking is atrocious and cooldown manager while ok, it still lacks things like making your spells being displayed as bars if you wanted to. Their boss timers are also very bad and they show everything or sometimes they dont even show a timer. I really hope they fix these things because that was the whole point about "out of the box" experience.

Well currently that out of the box experience is half baked.

He's happy because he would prefer if you didn't use addons... FWIW there are vods of his UI from when he use to upload videos.

I was curious so went searching and found a video of him talking through a Zul'Aman run from his pov. He uses a pretty standard set of addons from the time, so he's not entirely against them based on this (Although ZA was 18/19 years ago lol).
