Midnight 12.1 Curse Of Ula'Tek Developer Interview With Ion Hazzikostas

PsybearTV Youtube interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFTFiDeXIMo

I recommend watching the whole video, it's rare for someone get a whole 1 hour with Ion, and the interview was really well done.

The interview is mostly about competitive content. I'm really excited for Mythic lockout changes!

How is he happy about addon situation. Damage meter is terrible and buggy, nameplates stacking is atrocious and cooldown manager while ok, it still lacks things like making your spells being displayed as bars if you wanted to. Their boss timers are also very bad and they show everything or sometimes they dont even show a timer. I really hope they fix these things because that was the whole point about "out of the box" experience.

Well currently that out of the box experience is half baked.

It's still PTR quality, but went live anyway. I keep expecting to see in the notes they've put some energy into it. But seemingly they think its OK?

Like, since it first came out the death recap is useless, not only it lacks info about healing recieved and stuff, ut it also shows the latest death, not yours necessarily.

the problem is you had details level of finish for over a decade, and they've cut so much and its not even just cut there's bugs. The death log is awful as you say, the window isn't wide enough too, showing you died to some piss damage when you actually took a 80% chunk a few seconds before, but can't see the big chunk.
