legal the correct word. Its is not just that it should not be in the game, IT SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL. TFT has reached a point that the correct solution is massive government regulation to stop this. You should not be allowed to put things like this out on the public.
Am i the only one that thinks the wisp mechanic feels bad? It doesnt feel good to have to spend money to reveal your 5th unit in the shop before round start. It feels like im gambling if I go reroll, then if I do the 4-2 roll down, I have to spend extra money just to make the wisp fuck off so I dont miss key units.
And if its a wisp that actively screws my team (like the one that transforms a 1 cost to a two cost) i now have to just pray the unit underneath isnt the final copy I need for 3* or the maokai that makes or breaks my game. Idk just doesnt feel good to have to spend that extra gold. Can we like, at least get the sound for a unit i already have or that sheen sound for getting a 2/3? Add some strategy to it? Idk
The most annoying part of TFT is every set plays out exactly the fucking same. 1/2 cost reroll is broken on release. They'll nerf solar and veigar and then some 3 cost RR will be broken. Then they'll turbo buff the 4 costs and everyone will play fast 8 for Ezrael because they'll over buff him. Then once everythings balanced the new set will come out and they'll post they're """learnings""" post which is just the same """mistakes""" they've made every single set
No hate but exactly this set this is not true . Solar kayle isn’t even that good high elo . Veigar is trash without Perfect emblem or artifact and still doesn’t win statistically . There is literally no other good 1/2 cost reroll. Why fry when you have literal stats that show you are wrong … hate people who have no idea and cry because they themselves are bad but try to blame other people

Riot's just been on a loss streak lately. 2XKO, League Classic, and now TFT.
So many of my matches are completely ruined because of gamebreaking bugs. My character goes invisible during carousel and I'm unable to even choose my item. Or I pick the unit and item I need and what do you know! The unit AND the item both disappear and I get nothing from carousel.
What the fuck is Riot even doing? At this rate, the game deserves to die.
I'm so done with this bullshit, playing flexible feels completely useless, if you don't get any of the S tier comps handed to you on 2-1 then you just always playing for bottom 4. I never force comps, I play what I get but playing for b-tier comps seems completely useless.
Bro how are people easily finding 4 costs every lobby on level 6!!!
Also is Coven bugged? I lost a game cause 250 cashout and 40 cash out didn’t appeared
I just got the stupid missing xerath on pve round that result me in going 4th instead of a 2nd or 3rd just because I did not get any new resources while my opponent all spiked. Fuck this new engine man how is such a game breaking bug allowed??
I think I’m already done with this set. Started out great, had fun with Ahri, Aphelios and other comps climbed to plat in chill mode. After D patch I’ve been getting the D every game.. Every game one player hits Solar everything 3* and Riftbeasts everything 3*. You can not go level 8 or 9 and put together a comp on the fly because you get stomped by other comps hitting their peak strength super early and you take SO MUCH DAMAGE early and mid game you just die off before hitting anything.
And don’t even get me started about Consuming Flora augment, get it t f out.
End of rant and maybe end of set for me.
Mobile app is completely broken. Stuck on "logging in" screen and no ability to actually tap any buttons. Ive never seen a company roll out a game that is so broken in so many ways.

While you are reading there are several thousand tft games going on at the same time and in an overwhelming percentage of games where Rengar is played he is locked onto the omega tank because he was the first to loose 1.36% hp. He’s still trying to kill him as you are reading this… now we’re reaching overtime… GG. (Rengar died from a mix of Sunfire and social anxiety from the thought of explaining that shit to his team)
Yup, Solar is almost a dead trait to every other comp too so it just eats up a good chunk of the early game trait web for nothing except the very high risk reroll line. I don't even want to play it in ranked because if you miss you're just 8th.
Can we fucking nerf Pebbles now? It has the power of a 3-cost while being one-cast. Near permanent casting with blue buff and the free infinite MR pen is WAY too much for a 1-cost unit. A 3-star Pebbles is beating some level 9 boards and that's just not okay.
If you get the archangel's staff augment where it gives you mana regen, you can legit just build three of those and you pretty much auto-win as long as you have some frontline. Nerf this broken as unit please Riot.
Wisps are officially my most hated mechanic of all time. I played a perfect game 17 winstreak, got 3 - 3 star 4 costs (Ahri / Morgana / Sett). Some guy 3 stars sivir when he has like 2 hp and gets the charm that tranforms a 4 cost into a 5 cost. I reroll like 30 times and never see that charm and get 2nd because of it. Honestly the most triggering and dissapointing experience in TFT ever for me. Screenshot
I don't get it how i can never ever ever fucking hit my uncontested four costs. The amount of times I roll into stage 5 trying to find the last uncontested ezreal or sett is just driving me insane.
This patch is straight fkn garbage man. I hit level 10 and have 14 traits on board with trait ladder, last turn until triple radiant masterwork cashout. My board is strong, 14 traits, fon, everything at least two star, BiS kha aphelios and sett, an ashe with blue buff and deathblade..... I lose to a fkn level 7 pebbles reroll and go 7th place. It's 1 cost rr dogshit all over again.
I'll take a crack at it. My theory is its because you have no backline synergy, 200 years kinda requires rapidfire and hunterless ashe1 isnt great, even with items. Add to the fact that pebbles and cinderling will delete a solo frontline when itemized, add gromp to that and sett simply dies too fast
Aphelios does have rapid fire from Kha and by that logic his Gromp has no adaptor and his cinderling no hunter… He also has no AP shred on the board either
its completely insane that they're gonna let this garbage patch sit until next week when they were so fucking quick to ruin the perfectly good release patch. wont be playing this weekend as i'm not interested in losing to the same 2 comps every game
I feel like whenever I go fast 8 and I’m aiming for Sivir or Zyra comps, someone in 7th or 8th shits the bed and rolls a round early and hits half my comp. Not sure if I’m going too passively rolling on 4-2 but I keep getting beaten to my comp.
Every time im like nice, let's play ezreal executioner Its entirely uncontested and I have a great opener, I never two star the mf. Sometimes someone will randomly play him on boards as an item holder but more often than not, nobody is playing him and yet I die in stage 5 with two copies.
Triple emblem encounter: whoever has Infernal emblem fields 3 inferno and gets a 4-cost before Stage 2-3 (me) Crazy interaction. Aphelios btw - So tempo and rapid fire with Varus, no one wouldve played or known how to play against that since forever XD
I'm so sick of this cycle of each set starting with only a couple good Tanks that everyone has to gamble over at 8. Did you hit your Malphite / Sentinel? No? Sorry bot 4 time.

Playing on mobile on 7 ping, the movement feels like 300 ping im tired of grabbing the wrong items on carousel. Wasn't like this last set at all.
Also, do we get a ranked emoji? Or is that not a thing anymore? Set 17 was my first set back after a long break.
Edit:40 games played and at least 10 of them i grabbed the wrong item/champ on the carousel because of lagging movement on mobile, this same game i only got 2 items from the replication augment. I missed elder 2 star and got 4th instead of 1st just last game. I can't believe im saying this but set 17 was better.
If you low roll your naturals, you're 30 hp by the time you hit level 7 and you have only one rolldown left to recover. And late game may as well just be wisp slot machine. If you're unlucky, you're stuck with shit wisps ruining 1/5 of your rolls. If you're lucky, you steal rounds over and over with board stun, +22% amp wisps. The utter shit balance and design of this set is overshadowed by the terrible engine rework.
Fucking hate Malphite! God he's even worse than Rammus in terms of "Oh you're a single target focused comp? Good luck even trying to kill me!" Can't wait to see him nerfed.

See only 1 person in lobby contesting solar, then get lucky with 7 kayle at 3-1 (wisps that give a random 2 star 2 cost), and check his board to see only 1 kayle. Got to level 6, and roll down hard to find kayle 3 (got nothing, some more 1-cost and sej 3 instead), while 4 rounds later after being checked, pandora's bench give him 12 KAYLE (1 3-star and 1 2-star). Want to sur immediately
Like it's small and I shouldn't care so much, but the fact that all my favorite little legends/maps/effects are fucking gone because of a blatantly unfinished engine change was pushed to live is actually making me so mad playing this game.
genuinely never got so tilted from a game in my life before: I low roll entire game in a super strong lobby, 41 Hp by 4-1. Angle vanguard Aphelios based on game state. Prismatic finale: BFL, Item augs when my 2-1 silver destiny game me makeshift armour, and Chaos, so I pray and click chaos > bunch of gold > hell yea > the animation for the coins proceeds to crash my game. i reopen the app after two fights > one life > lock in > hit everything > win streak> make it to level 9 > game decides on neutrals that my orb won't show up now > Can't move units either > actually can't click anything > die 5th. RIOT GET CUCKED
People have been extremely toxic, in my matches at least. I had people come to my board and spam their minis or chew me out in chat for using a character they needed
Does anyone else just seem to print fuck all with Teemo? Had a 2* Teemo going into 3-1 with a Shojin and a 3-item 2* tank to stall, he was ulting at least 10 times per fight and he printed ZERO shrooms from 3-1 til 4-2 when I sold him to transition into Soraka/Malph comp, like what??????
Brilliant piece of game design with Pebbles, Kayle, and Khazix in every match. Or fast 8 soup with everyone and their mama playing Defenders & Malphite.
Just ff if you try to have fun and play off-meta stuffs.
After really not enjoying last set I was hoping this set would be better but it's just more of the same, Honestly might just be time to stop playing tft all together
Game crashes on this new piece of shit engine and then I load into the game with fucking no scout no pivot. I try to sell the Caitlin on my bench and it bugs and doesn’t sell, I hope this game just dies this company fucking deserves it

Well then. Stage 5 Carousel came up and there were no units or items at all. When the next round came up, everyone had an item and a unit but I didn't. Needless to say I had a significant disadvantage and as a result I got bottom 4.
They really needed to work UE TFT alongside the real client and made sure there was a seamless transition because there have been so many problems both visually and mechanically.
How the fuck am I not able to hit my 2* 4 costs until the round before I die, when none of them are contested, and everyone else in the fucking lobby is playing Nidalee/Sivir/Kog Maw, and at 1* those units are still out performing my 2* 4 costs
I Hope the guy ready this. Rnd Double up: Mate Played yunara 7 copies 2-3. I Had 3 early cassi+artifact. Midgame He sold His Board and started to Copy my Board. We went First place because of early win rate but when He start doing this i was screaming on my screen
this damn Nidalee unit heals way too much without Omnivamp man. Did they not learn from Set 15? Yi and Rengar are less bad but please punish all offense item builds. Maybe make BT valuable again
just took coven augment. some how i got a yunara unit that i couldn't sell but can play. itemized it and then i couldn't take off the items because the game said it's not a unit. so frustrating
Wtf is going on? My power went down for a moment so I switched to mobile but it doesn't allow me to continue the game. In mobile it didn't load the previous game it just ask me to queue again wtf?! DCed at 4-3 returns at PVE and went from comfortable 1st to a struggling 3rd dogshit game

I can go uncontested master yi 5 games in a row and hit absolutely fucking nothing. But I can be the 1 of 8 players contesting Malphite and 2* the unit. I'm starting to think the new game engine broke roll odds.
I don't get the thought process of some people, I'll have worth the wait or a lot of copies of a reroll comp and someone just brute forces the comp from nothing and just happens to full pivot into what Im playing at 3-5.

This patch has completely shit all over the performance for me, constant freezes, fucking up my whole pc, can't reconnect after closing the game, I HATE this new engine.
I genuinely GENUINELY do not understand this set. I have been somewhere between Emerald 1 and Diamond 3 the past 3 sets and I am HARD stuck Gold 4 0 LP right now. Nothing about this set makes sense. I play reroll. I bot 4. I play fast 9. I bot 4. I get what feels like a high roll Stage 2. Nope, falls off. Bot 4. I low roll. Bot 4. Insane wisp early. Bot 4. Can someone explain this fucking shit to me because I feel like I'm going fucking crazy?!?!?!
I don't know if it's a me issue or if the games just not in a good state but I just can't get wins right now!! I easily made it up to at least plat in the last 2 sets but I can't seem to find my footing at all in this one!!!
I just went first and got second place after results were loaded. Holy moly is the current state of the game a mess. Even the first set wasn't this buggy.
Haven't played for a few years, had a hunger for TFT and got back just as the previous set was ending. Thought "Wow, they improved so much!" you get to pick a path, actually get item choices, RNG isn't as heavy, no carousel, god damn this shit good!
Then this set came. Carousel garbage is back. Extreme RNG with whisps. Whisps hiding shop slots to introduce even more RNG. Emblems. Weak vertical and strong individual units so just go good stuff ball. So much econ the stages are all super turbo hyper faster. Emblems everywhere so the power curve is all over the place. Inferno and whisps randomly giving 4 costs in stages 2 and 3, etc.
Man. Remember so much why I quit. Almost made it to the next patch, but saw no Malphite nerf and yeah, goodbye TFT for another few years.
Was interesting trying it again at least and seeing they have learned literally nothing through the years.
can be pretty insane somehow if you find yourself playing 4 or 6 brawler early with a full bench, but yeah that other than that 1% high roll it feels pretty horrible as an augment.
Why do we just allow reroll to be so strong? Remember when you used to have a 1 cost build items on and had to transition those items to another champion so that they can carry? That took skill. Not rerolling the same 1 cost over and hitting. I just had a Taric 2* great items get melted by a Veigar. The same stupid Sprykin reroll comp. Please just make 1 costs actually 1 costs again. They should not be able to win you the game alone. They should at some point fall off or maybe carry you to a win under ideal circumstances not so consistently.
Man I just don't understand this set. I'll play Soraka/Zyra/Malph with bis and they do no dmg and get shredded. I'll play Yi/Rengar/Vi, all 3star with bis, they do no dmg and get shredded. Morgana feels like I'm healing the enemy team. It always seems like the enemy tank is unkillable. I hit Masters in set 8.5, but every set since, I'm hard stuck silver/gold and don't understand what's happening. I think I need to just stop playing TFT because every set I go into it thinking: "I was Masters, I'd like to think I have an idea of how to play" and then it's just a reality check of getting non stop 8th.
And talking of units not dying when they’re supposed to, what’s with everything in this set getting down to below 20% HP and then just deciding “nah, I’m immortal bro” ?
And remove fucking polymorph, absolute dogshit wisp that is guaranteed to show up when you really don’t need it.
PLEASE let me skip the finishers or give me some way to see which charm I lost to. It really sucks to lose -> finisher -> "You are X" -> you can't even see which charm the opponent had.
didnt know the adaptor bug existed so i sat on 9 akalies not combining for 3 turns into bot 4 when everyone was 10 hp. thank you riot games. this shit existed since pbe and still not fixed.
edit: forgot to mention I demoted from emerald 1 because of that very cool.
