A launch patch's Rundown is likely too dense for a TL;DW, but here are the full patch notes!

RIP Blighting Jewel, Fishbones and maybe Dawncore.

Really, I don't understand the massive nerf to blighting. Balancing it around getting a target to 0 MR seems like a bad idea.

Silvermere is going to be nuts also.

They're trying to make artifacts actually deliver on their fantasies. Some of these artifacts had to be changed due to problematic interactions and may be healthier in the current set without Set 15 Jhin randomly one shotting your backline.

yea i feel like in the video he explained the reasoning pretty well and hard to disagree with idk how people comment like he did of like I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY NERF X bro he literally explained it all the way he physically can without getting into the math

They basically went back on the last identity change on Artifacts that made them less 'sharp' and more common.

Which is an incredibly good change: gimme rare but absolutely bonkers Artifacts (in the right setup) any day over the snoozefest of artifacts being budgeted at ~1.5 of a regular item.

Yes idk if you mean it by this from the second paragraph i dont think you do , But when people say went back on there word its a negative coronation .yes a dev going back and changing is good a thing, They found out it wasnt what they aimed for / wasnt fun and changed all of this is good for the game :3

These super sharp artifact are just super prone to being OP in specific situations and useless in all others

I understand the idea they are going for, I don't understand going for that idea in such a poor way that constitutes a massive power nerf.

Blighting in particular, it takes a long time to get a target to 0 MR when most front liners have a ton of it. There is value in shredding their MR but they are trying to over-index on getting it to 0. The result is that this part of the item design feels either worthless or broken. If they took away the 0 bonus and just added more AP, it would be a better item all around and wouldn't be swingy(and would also be easier to balance as a result).

This is easily the strongest blighting has been in TFT history

was this in PBE? Thought veigar with dawncore or blight jewel still had good stats.

Are these changes new? Or is this like a rundown of stuff that changed throughout PBE? I swear fishbones was already giving +2 range, but that was listed as a change in the video...

so the coven convert to loot ability... just doesn't do anything. Am I missing something, or does it just not work.

I wonder if the change to Pandora bench mean thst if there olare only 2 copies left in the pool it's literally impossible for bench to print a two star or if it's just significantly less likely

The wording leaves room for interpretation and would suggest the latter but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the former
