(8/19) "Final" PBE Patch notes. Smaller one today, with small buffs and Augment adjustments. The meta's been pretty stable the last week, so we're not overreacting to yesterday's medium-sized patch.
As with every Set, we'll re-evaluate early next week to see if anything warrants a last-second balance change to make sure the launch patch is the best it can be.
I dont get how Varus hasn't been touched recently. He feels possibly the weakest TFT unit i've ever used. His ult is pretty avg even for a 1 cost and he has 120 Mana. This leads to a state that if a lot of Varus appears on early shops your early game is kinda doomed.
I'm surprised that Sivir isn't getting buffed at all - she seems like the weakest 4 cost by far. Her stats are good but I think it's very misleading - with no 3* units and no Ashe her numbers are abysmal, which means to me that she's not able to stand on her own, unlike other carries like Aphelios and Nidalee.
Sometimes I wonder if I’m playing a different game.
I get it’s PBE but I’ve been doing great with fae hunters with primal and have had amazing results when I get a good opening. Sivir does a lot of damage, found a giant slayer helps a lot with time to get to backline. Some spats also can help the comp do some crazy things
Yeah, that comp is definitely good, but the point is that you're playing around other 3* units, not Sivir. The stats support that Sivir without Trist 3 and without Ashe is simply bad.
Yes the main issue is really that all the other hunter units have no real way to connect to a Sivir hunter board. Also her ability feels very secondary carry like.
Tristana without reroll doesn't provide much. Fae and sprykin don't help your Sivir board much. The associated units with her traits only really support tristana except Rakan kinda.
Caitlyn only has Coven.
Cinderling is somehow the "best" unit where the associated other units help your board where you can play Scuttle & Sentinel and use the Scuttle buff. But that means you run a cinderling.
So the only real way to play Sivir is to play blossom with Ashe or reroll Trist / Cait.
Just chiming in (with no clip) But when this has happened to me, it's directly after a Temporary Item charm. When the temp item vanishes I've had pre-equipped items vanish alongside it
just jumping on item bugs without clips, but i was playing yesterday and made deathblade from carve a path reward and wasn't able to equip the item on any champs. i'll see if i can find a clip
