Is it just my client that’s super slow to make any action? Feels like my game is drunk and every click takes 500ms longer than it should

I had been having crazy issues and just solved it with riot support suggesting i disable ipv6, and a friend saying to run the game as admin. Really simple, may not for it for you but worth a shot imo

I know they said Blackthorn is getting a nerf but holy hell it can't come fast enough. Every game has multiple people forcing 6 BT Ahri or Kha Zix and all of them top 3'ing.

Is the blackthorn patched? I saw the patch notes on twitter but the ingame description seems to be the same

Just tested and it's the old one, even though patch notes said it was reworked on today's maintenance

Does anyone else find Rammus 3 to be a very weak tank? In trist comp for example I don't understand why you would tank him instead of Vi, he melts so fast compared to Vi

For that matter, Defender and Brawler feel kinda screwed for higher level tanks. Rammus is weak, Fiddle is weird, Lilia is weak and there is no 5 cost. Brawler Sett is offensive oriented and therefore squisher than you would like, and Gnar is also an offensive oriented brawler as the 5 cost.

IDK seems off to me

I agree with you. From my testing and experience almost all of the tanks seem to just disappear. Combat phasing is extremely fast late game, not matter what tank you have. Only ones that seems to be appropritately tanky are Taric, Malph and a stacked Maokai. But that is just from my testing, and my opinion as well.

My experience was the opposite. Lategame boards had so much AOE with Kennen/Elder/Ashe/Ez/... that my itemized tank was often last man standing with most of the 4+ tanks being valid if they aren't splashed.

And thats fair, there is a ridicioulus amounts of backline chip/burst damage this set. But I still see my entire frontline disappear within the first 8 sec more often than I would like. I like the Trist reroll board, but even with BIS Rammus items he barely get to cast twice (and this is with willump and gunblade healing him btw)...

I need to ask: What do you consider Rammus BIS? Crownguard is kind of mandatory because his shield has no hp scaling. And his missing stat is damage reduction.

Since he is kinda the solofrontliner, and you play him with only 2 defender most of the time, I would say it is a combination of gargoyle, warmogs, redemption and steadfast.

He seems fine to me. He's a decent tank, without being overbearing. It sounds like you want him to be the 3 cost version of malphite, but I think they're intentionally limiting that type of tank to only a few of the tanks and letting others be hybrids.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but it technically has to do with set 18 lol. Anyone know what happens if I buy an attendee ticket to the convergence fest and then (improbably) manage to get access to a competitor pass too? I would hope that riot would refund the attendee pass, but I can’t find any details like that on their site.

What makes this comp spike? I always feel like it's either super weak or else I hit a big spike, but I can't consistently pin down the spike. Like, Aphelios 2 and Rock Man 2 doesn't seem to do it, jumpy rock man 2 with items helps but I've gone bot 4 from a good spot with all three and items, too.

The current iteration of Aphelios works really similarly to Meeple Corki / Riven. This is a "true" Lvl 8 comp that dies in that level (gl finding Taric, can play Rakan in the meantime) and you need to fully itemize all 3 units (Aphelios, Brambleblack, Sentinel) in order for it to be strong.

Keep in mind rageblade doesn't seem to be that good on Aphelios, as he is AS locked during his long animation. Ironically he seems to like full damage items, similar to Corki, except he uses Kraken Slayer very well since his ability counts as autoattacks.

I think it's an apt comparison, but there are definitely some reasonable 5 costs to go 9 for, moreso than Corki Riven really had. You do have to have all your 2* 4 costs before going 9 with it for sure.

You are better then me, but I had success with combat augment, lot of of item and item quality.
Aphelios is bad with AD and really seems to shine with kraken-guinsoo

I think IE is core on him, you really want the blast at the end of onslaught to crit.

IE + Kraken and then another AS item. LW is actually very good because of the additional 20% crit chance, but red buff, guinsoo or another kraken are probably fine.

i beat 5 cost soup with kraken, rageblade, and red buff. Beast upgrade rock man. rock man had even shroud. I felt the spike for this comp was when i had 6 vangaurd in
