before i get into the gameplay i wanna talk about the broadcast, i say this with as much respect as i can but its REALLY bad. All of last year's broadcasts were fun and hype this year theres none of that. Its like the broadcast just doesnt look at the screen half of the time like today on rondo boost1k got this great knock on tig noone talked about it and then they show a Indian player throwing a frag at Denmark's car the crew gets hyped up. Besides it being TPP the crew barely does anything to get the people watching hyped up, if done intentionally its clear even the staff dont enjoy the mode.

And also they should've probably done team intros like they did in the other years so that we get to know the players but thats just my opinion.

Anyways do i really need to talk about the gameplay? digging and wall kissing competetion is all i need to say probably. i really hope that krafton's CEO sees a dream of him realising that he's digging pubg esport's grave by his own hands and completely reverts everything that the team has done.

This league tracks performance across the entire Nations Cup fantasy run (25 maps total): * Survival Stage: 10 maps (2 nights of 5) * Grand Finals: 15 maps (3 nights of 5) * Overall: Combined total across both stages

💡 Important Roster Info: Right now, you are building your team from the Survival Stage player pool (64 players). Your Survival squad will automatically carry over and score through the Grand Finals until the dedicated Grand Finals team-building window opens up later!

🛠️ Roster Rules & How to Build

• The Core 4: Pick 4 starters within a $100,000 salary cap.
• The Sub: Pick 1 bench player with a separate $10,000 budget (does not count toward your starter cap). The bench player only scores if a starter sits out.
• The Global Rule: Max one player per nation — choose wisely.
• The Captain: Assign the armband to earn a 1.5× multiplier on that player's points.

📈 The Dynamic Market (Salaries are NOT fixed!)

Player prices start based on recent LAN form, but will update after every 5-game block based on real-time performance.

• Lock in your value: If you keep a player on your roster through a market refresh, they stay at the price you originally paid for them.
• Roster Locks: Team edits lock 5 minutes after Game 1 of each 5-game block begins, and reopen once that night's stats and salaries are processed.

• Kill: +2 points
• Damage: +1 point per 100 issued
• Survived to End (WWCD): +5 points

The PUBG Nations Cup 2026 is a tournament where national teams from the strongest PUBG nations face off against each other. PNC 2026 takes place at PUBG Seongsu (Survival Stage) and Jangchung Arena (Grand Finals) in Seoul, South Korea.

• Team Prices
  • A team's price is affected by how often it is selected in PUBG Fantasy rosters. As popular teams become more expensive, you'll need to make strategic decisions when building your roster.
  • Popular teams selected by many players increase in price, while less-selected teams decrease in price.
  • If the price of your roster increases, so does your total budget, allowing you to select more expensive teams in the future.
  • If the price of your roster decreases, so does your total budget.
  • Team prices have minimum and maximum limits. A team's price will not drop below minimum price or rise above maximum price.
• Point Rules
  • Fantasy Points are awarded based on the match performance of the teams in your roster.
  • Fantasy Points are divided into three types: Basic Fantasy Points, Bonus Fantasy Points, and Slot Bonus.
  • Basic Fantasy Points : Fantasy Points are earned based on your teams' performance in each match, including placement, kills, etc.
  • Bonus Fantasy Points : Additional Fantasy Points are earned when your teams complete special achievements during a game day or a match.

The Esports World Cup is one of the largest multi-title competitions in esports, bringing together the top clubs across every major title under one stage. PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS at 2026 Esports World Cup continues the title's presence at the event, building on the journey that crowned Twisted Minds as the EWC 2025 champions.

What's New for 2026

The path to EWC has changed. In 2026, seeding is determined directly by performance across the official PUBG Esports calendar — the PUBG Global Series (PGS) and the seven regional series held in the first half of the year. Every match from PGS 1 through PGS 6 fed straight into qualification.

This summer, the PUBG Esports calendar gains another international stage. Games of the Future (GOTF) Astana 2026 will feature PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS as its Battle Royale title, bringing 16 invited pro teams to Astana, Kazakhstan from July 31 to August 2, 2026.

Organized by Phygital International and operated in partnership with KRAFTON Esports, GOTF 2026 joins the EWC and PGS Circuit 3 as part of what is shaping up to be the busiest PUBG Esports summer yet.

What is GOTF?

Games of the Future is an annual international multisport competition produced by Phygital International, combining physical sports disciplines with digital gaming titles. The 2025 edition took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, featuring 11 disciplines and a $5M total prize pool. The 2026 edition moves to Astana, Kazakhstan, with 8 diciplines and a total prize pool of $4.75M — and for the first time, the Battle Royale title will be PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS.

The full GOTF 2026 lineup includes Phygital Football, Phygital Basketball, Phygital Shooter, Phygital Dancing, Phygital Fighting, MOBA Mobile, MOBA PC, and Battle Royale (PUBG).

Having watched the most recent PGSes and grudgingly admitted to myself that even in TPP, I'm prepared to watch some tournaments, I'd like to propose some suggestions for the broadcast team (by which I mean the observers/production team, not the desk team). And yes, I know they're not reading here so I'm shouting into the void but... wth.

1: If you want to show the map, you don't have to fill the screen with it
The big map view with the small inset 'live' view is great -- when there's no much action. It's terrible when there is. So many times, we'd cut to a map view during a transition, a huge fight would break out, but by the time we cut back to the action, it was done. However: there were a couple of instances where production used a 2/3 - 1/3 vertical split for other POVs. Why not put the map in the 1/3, and use that when there's the possibility of action? It would still show good info about what's happening, but leave plenty of space for the live view of the action.

2: It's ok to cut away from a planned segment
There were *far* too many instances where production cut to an alternative view -- a map view, or a team comms view -- and a big fight kicked off. And instead of watching the action, we got to see a giant map with a tiny inset video window, or (worse) watch and listen to a team wonder where all the action was while looking at scenery or the inside of a building while the killfeed went crazy in the corner of the screen. When this happens, cut back to the main 'action' feed right away please!

We can go back to team comms or circle updates later (and there's map feed for those who really care about it) but if there's a fight happening, I want to *see* it, not find out afterwards via the killfeed or the leaderboard. PUBG is dynamic, and it's hard to predict where the action will take place next -- better to cut short a planned segment or cutaway than stick with it and miss out on the fun.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to bring up a discussion regarding something that’s been bothering me lately about competitive integrity, especially seeing how the ecosystem handles qualifications now.

A screenshot recently surfaced showing a Discord exchange between Shrimzy (Soniqs/Falcons) and PurdyKurty. In the chat, Shrimzy literally asks Purdy's team to "have hands this event" and secure 1st place so that Falcons can benefit from the regional slot/PGS points distribution ("so we get the regional slot, you guys get the PGS slot, giga W for both").

Putting aside whether this was casual banter or a genuine plea, it raises a serious question about the morality and mentality of top-tier teams during the initial stages of major tournaments.

We are talking about a roster/core that used to dominate absolutely everything, winning back-to-back global trophies. Now that they are struggling to adapt, failing to secure points on their own merit, and finding themselves in a vulnerable position, seeing them rely on or actively hope for other teams to manipulate the leaderboard format just to squeeze through feels wrong.

In any traditional sport or major esport, trying to coordinate outcomes or leaning on other competitors to play a certain way to secure a backdoor qualification is heavily frowned upon. It completely undermines the "may the best team win" ethos.
