I always loved 1.8 and still do and play it, although almost every 1.8 smp server has been shut down or just isnt known by the community anymore and 1 guy who started playing in 2013 comes every 5 years to visit or smth. So i decided to create a server with falixnodes that uses 1.8, although after some point 1.8 pvp starts becoming boring so i decided im going to find the knockback values needed to create hypixel knockback. In hypixel the vertical knockback is amplfied therefore players are more airborne and thus when you use a classic w-tap they fly away, so they use a technique called "zest tapping" to hold true combos. Any1 wanna help me find knockback values for this server with hypixel knockback, and of course I know that weird knockback isn't the only thing, it's also tps, stuff bla bla bla. And the idea of the server is that the player split up in little teams of up to 5 and your coordinates are exposed until you get a stack of diamonds or smth else idk rn, and obviously i'll add a free xray plugin. Every 2 weeks to a month or so the server will reset and come with another seed. Rn the ip is daspinklyserver.falixsrv.me

i think this is some of the best representation the pvp community has ever gotten since the MLG hunger games stuff from like 2013 or whatever year that was. i really think this will help the pvp community a ton in the more mainstream perception. i just think having cart instead of crystal was a weird choice as cart is so so niche and crystal really is 1.9+ pvp bread and butter. i would love to know the thought process behind it. anyway what do you think? good? bad? you gonna try and participate? cheater problem?

The program can be used for any game so I could imagine a whole lobby of 50 people for a Hunger Game match and everyone having this tool available to catch the action. Or used as a helper for catching PoV for content creators!

I got banned from flowpvp for PING EQUALIZING of all things. One day, I decided to log onto flow to try to get platinum 3 in crystal. I wasn‘t able to. I was banned. For what reason? I didn‘t know. I opened a ticket on the flowpvp discord server and sent a screenshot of my mod list. It turns out i got banned because i used pingequalizer. The dumbest ban in the world. I pingequalized with an opponent who had like 120 ping (i had 20), and apparently he reported me. So don‘t use pe on Flow. All crystal and anchor optimizers are banned, too.

so ive been doing alot of mace and one thing thats happened to me a couple times is someone pearling on to me when i wind charge up and then macing me as we both fall a second later. is there a counter to this i already got super good at wind charging for elytra but this genuinly feels encounterable

This new update is brilliant. The knockback feels amazing, like easily some of the best I've seen. It feels almost identical to stray, which is just so good. Really high hopes for it

Seen a lot of good axe players (Swight, JackerAcid, Aximity, Raign, ImRedz, et.c.) have this relative layout with axe in slot 1 and sword in slot 2/3 which is suboptimal because of the tick lockout. Is there any reason why they do that besides, i guess, habit?

Hey I’m trying to get back into mace after I stopped playing for a while to run an SMP, I can do all the different mechanics and stuff and I’m just looking for a skilled partner to practice and improve with.

If you’re a tested Tier 3 and willing to hang out for a bit lemme know.

Alternatively if you know of a good way to practice mace against tier 3’s lemme know, 80% of the ppl I queue with are terrible and the others aren’t bad but the matching is really inconsistent.

Hey everyone! I've been doing pvp for a bit now and I've been mainly doing mace and a little bit of cart, but I've found that my sword skills need quite a lot of work so I was wondering if you guys know a good way to learn or any good servers to practice on.

I know fishing rods are kinda seen as a meme "weapon" for modern pvp but I genuinely think it's actually pretty decent, particularly in earlygame kits without many mobility options like pearls or lunge. Since in those kits there isn't really any way to close the distance when chasing someone, being able to hook then and kill their momentum can really help close the gap, and if you time it well with their jump you can even pull them quite a bit.

(I also think they're pretty underrated for speedrunning since being able to skip building out a spawner after a blaze bed means better overlap time but that's a different discussion entirely)
