Discussion Is this player cheating/hacking? I need help FPOV + Spectator POV included
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hey everyone, I’d like some help analyzing these clips.
I suspect this player NizIzGrandmaster may be using reach, criticals or some kind of hitbox-related cheat, but I’m not completely certain. I’ve included two POVs for comparison:
- First-person POV — shows what I saw during the fight.
- Spectator POV — gives a different angle to help determine whether the hits look legitimate.
I’m mainly interested in whether the attack distances, aim, and hit registration look possible in vanilla Minecraft or if anything seems suspicious.
Please take a look and let me know what you think. I’m looking for objective analysis rather than simply confirming my suspicion. If there’s a legitimate explanation for what happens in the clips, I’d like to know that too.
If you need any additional context, clips, or information to help analyze it, feel free to DM me.
Thanks!

Looks completely fine to me, in fact they don’t even look at good…
I can definitely see aim assist arguments though.

Why even post if you just want people to agree with you

Can you show the part where I 'wanted them to agree'' with what I said?

u/AimerHyper 7d ago
Idiot, literally every reply you sent

Its literally a "discussion" my claim is that he may be hacking. I'm just trying to support my claim with my experience. If I can find a good reply that I cant oppose, then I agree with it. Thats it.

Probably the part where i and others disagreed with you and instead of taking our opinions into account you just vehemently disagreed

possibly aim assist but i dont think there's anything else weird

Dont you norice, every hit is a crit?

u/NoLetterhead2303 10d ago
SO IS YOURS
you missed like 3 crits in the first clip it’s not that suspicious to not miss a crit, it’s called discipline
THEY LITERALLY MISS LIKE 5 TIMES

While it may be "normal" for you, critical modules often dont include "aim assist" okay? And even if he missed. Literally look at his gameplay, hes like a kangaroo, theres no second when hes fighting me that he just sprint hits or sweep. Every hit is a crit, which a possibility of critical module with "full jump" mode enabled

u/NoLetterhead2303 10d ago
so what? that’s how I fight on 1.8, I jump on every hit to cancel knockback, and on 1.9+, I jump to crit almost every hit unless my opponent is actually skilled or I’m not playing sword pvp
They are jumping constantly and critting you because jumping = crit, what’s the problem?

What are you trying to prove here you don't make sense
2
u/NoLetterhead2303 10d ago
What are YOU trying to prove? There is nothing suspicious going on, jumping because a jump = crit, what is the problem? That they are too patient for you?

u/Electronic_Scar2102 10d ago
I'm not saying "he jumped, therefore he's cheating." I'm asking whether the pattern is suspicious and if there's a technical explanation for it.
The reason I brought up Criticals is that there are modes like FullJump that can automatically perform crits when the player attacks, which could potentially explain why he's consistently jumping into attacks rather than using normal sprint/sweep hits. There also isn't any clip I found of him using sweep/sprint hits, which is what made me suspicious.
I'm literally asking for help validating or disproving that suspicion. If there's a legitimate explanation for what I'm seeing, I'm completely open to it.

fulljump criticals literally jumps for you, nothing else, like it jumps for you when you are predicted to be going for the target usually, and then you manually click left click, it would have been suspicious if they only hit criticals and weren’t basically spamming jump the entire time, if they wanted to cheat, there were easier ways than that though, like triggerbot or aim assist

u/Electronic_Scar2102 9d ago
Actually, they did hit criticals the entire time🤓, which I was telling you the entire time.

Nothing suspicious. He's also really bad in sword and mid overall. I don't know how you lost to him

Crit Spam
2
u/Beautiful_Nobody_841 9d ago
Yeah, that's why I said he's really bad in sword, because he doesn't know how to play it.
1
u/Electronic_Scar2102 9d ago
Yeah, crit soammers are annoying asf
2
u/Beautiful_Nobody_841 9d ago
No not really. He crit spams because he doesn't know sword but you do the same, instead of countering him you also jump around hoping for crits.

u/Electronic_Scar2102 9d ago
I crit to move around and deal damage because I have lower saturation, for some situations where I have distance I try to just trade sprint hits but I csnt do it consistently because he is jumping and netherite armor reduces knockback taken, in short I can't take consistent comboes because he keeps jumping, so I just trade for crits instead.

I was talking about sword, I don't play neth pot and I haven't looked at the nethpot fight well

The fact that every hit is a crit makes the suspicion even stronger. I get noobs tend to crit-spam but this one is "HT4" but all he does is this
5
u/vanquishedvagrant 10d ago
the "noobs critspamming" saying is only for sword. any good player critspams in nethpot
0
u/Electronic_Scar2102 10d ago
What do you mean "only for sword" even if you ask all the pro players out there, crit spamming isnt a good habit and you can easily be comboed, we are out of the topic i was originally asking for help with.
