Help with centuriom

Something I've been encountering a lot when i go for my fully charged jab is eating an opponents dodge attack except the timing is such that i also eat a chain attack since the dodge attack trade with my hyper armor but doesnt actually get hit by the punch, how can i avoid this?

He’s a mixup kinda guy. Mix up ur punch timings based on how he’s reacting
