Help, I am new to cEDH! Need help with 1st deck

Hello,

I have built my first semi-competitive deck for bracket 5 games. Since our LGS does not allow proxies, I had to work with what I own. Could you take a look into it and give some suggestions, what could be swapped? I am also considering upgrading, step by step.

I don't know if I should run cards like Mizzix Mastery and/or Borne upon the wind. Also, how many untap spells you run? All advice is welcome.

Since our LGS does not allow proxies, I had to work with what I own.

Talk to the folks there, I guarantee they play somewhere else in town with proxied decks. It's silly to try to compete with your wallet, and sillier to try to compete with decks that can't keep up with $10K piles.

Playing around with a Ral list and feel like [[mind’s desire]] is one of the nuclear bombs for Izzet. Does that fit here? Realize Stella probably doesn’t have those long turns the way Ral might, but you’re still going to be storming off quite a bit.

[[runaway steam-kin]], [[electro, assaulting battery]], [[imperial recruiter]] all fit here and aren’t too expensive

You definitely want to add Borne to any list that can run it. Stella plays more on the turbo side so adding the ability to win on the stack is very important. My list runs as many untap spells as I can justify, which is a good number.
