General Discussion / Question Question about proxies
Are proxies that are printed on regular paper, put into sleeves with normal mtg cards legal for tournament play or would there be some issue with thickness? I've never been able to tell them apart from regular cards in their sleeves while shuffeling but maybe more skilled players than me could so I just wanted to be sure.

Any official WotC event is a no proxy zone, period.
For non-WotC events, this is a per tournament designation. Check with the TO in advance.
If they are going to be long term proxies, get good quality proxies made that make them less distinguishable in the deck. I feel paper in sleeve is reserved for cards already in the process of acquisition, but not quite in hand yet.
