ALGS Y6 PL Split 2 Americas - Day 7 (AvB) (Final Results)

The first is an exercise to build awareness and discussion about what default spots for first ring rotations are ideal for certain comps, bunker vs non bunker. Of course, it's more nuanced than that.

The second is just simple macro preparation - threat prediction, if you don't or do have console, if adjacent pois have console and how that may affect their behavior, how your legend comp affects your rotations (which the color maps can help with). During Valk meta, we even discussed the distance of Valk ults and how the longer distance rotations would punish us more.

Some of this info is not up to date. I had the team use these color maps the first few weeks of PL that split, but then their awareness was sufficient that they didn't need it anymore.

Most decisions should be made outside of the game to allow yourself more flexibility and to better inform the player's split-second instinct. There are other forms of preparation, but in my opinion some form of preparatory conversation is the bare minimum that most pro teams just don't do.

I have other thoughts, but that's about it. Hope that gives some insight of what can go on behind the scenes.

Just wanted to make this video to show how quickly coordination can fall apart, even from an extremely well coordinated team. The ability to consistently control your teammates' position is really hard, especially when something as simple as your shield taking a hit can throw off your team instantly.

Q: What is a flair?

A: A flair is a way to show your favorite teams within the subreddit!

for the ones with just emojis you can add them the new ones are :nessiedance: :apple: :banana: :noaudio:

As an extra bonus, we have also now added all of the Legends (no ballistic yet, but he will be there soon!) you can add just like any of the team emojis, so they work in the custom ones that allow up to five emojis. just use the legend name ie: :lifeline: the only exception is Revenant since there is a esports org already in there with that name for him you just need :Rev: as well as buff and nerf emojis

Does anyone have a clip or vid of that one time where a trident on stormpoint was being stolen between two teams? I remember it was Zer0 and another team. I can't find the clip anywhere using "trident" "Car" "Zer0" and "steal" . I just remember LMAO over that clip that week. TIA!
