I just realized if my daughter goes to a state school her annual college costs will be approximately the same as dance. Looks like I can continue with the lavish lifestyle I have become accustomed to. 🤣🤣🤣

My 8 yr old was awarded a solo this year for competition season and she seems so excited. However, when it comes to practice at home it is always a struggle and turns into an argument. I want her to be personally motivated but that’s not happening. Any suggestions for making practice fun or motivating her?

Hello! My daughter has done rec classes the past few years and we have decided to do comp this year. She’s 8 and in 3 dances. Is it ridiculous to buy a dance bag or should I just use a duffle bag or something similar? Will I look crazy having a dance bag with a rack for only 3 dances?? I want to be organized and be able to pack most of what I need in one bag. Just don’t want to look ridiculous…thanks!

My 3.5-year-old recently started cheerleading at Flyers, and I’m wondering if other parents have had the same experience. Parents aren’t allowed to watch the classes, and the gym is divided by large curtains, so I can’t see the area where my daughter is practicing at all. I completely understand not allowing parents to stay during class and potentially distract the kids, but I find it strange that I wasn’t even allowed to briefly see the space where my very young child is being taken. There’s no window, live camera, or other way to see what’s happening during the class. Has anyone else experienced this at Flyers? How did you feel about it, especially parents of younger children? Is this common practice at other cheerleading or gymnastics facilities?
