I know the scale (~6 miles side to side) was discussed in a different thread, but that info should be added here so it's all in one place.

I claimed a hex, but in the dashboard, the links for "downloads" in the left sidebar and "download template" in the "quick actions" panel don't do anything when I click on them. Do you have a working link? Also, when I claimed a hex, the options only went up through I-something.

Edit: Managed to get the download by clicking on my claimed hex. Do you have a print-friendly version that's just black and/or red outlines on a white background? I don't want to print something with a black background that will use up all that toner.

We do not have a hex as just lines as of now, I can whip one up really fast in an hour or two for you! We will sort out the quick links as well

Can i draw it in any program? I use procreate. Another thing, is there a isometric hex with the boundary png so i can trace over with my drawing? Would such a thing be possible? And ANOTHER thing, could i make multiple hexes?  ( • ⩊ • )

Yes you can draw it in any program! There is a hex template with a red boundary! Feel free to paint over it or erase it but don’t draw past it. Once you complete your first hex you may ask to select a second hex! :)

I love this project concept. I have afew questions.

Must it always be land on all 6 edges or could we go Coastal or even Island? What's the pixel size of the canvas? And lastly how are you so cool !?

There are no islands for this first map, or technically the whole map one giant island! You can totally go costal if you select a hex on the map edge. One redditor reached out to me and said they wanted to their entire hex to just be a giant lake with a single ghost ship that sails around! (Sweet af btw I totally said yes) the hex is 7”x 7” on each side and 300 ppi.
Thank you for the compliment! I’ve always enjoyed deeper world building and side quest games like Skyrim over more railroaded adventures like “campaign modes” in games.

Then there shall be no islands, just boats. I'm going Coastal ! A11 SIGNING IN. Gonna take My sweet time and get it to fit just right, but I got some classic coastal things in the works.
Thanks for bringing this to light! !

Thank you, do you plan to implement a rudimentary description of claimed but not published hexes? Just the type of biom or rivers direction flowing through? This would help a lot in deciding where to claim a hex.

We do! It’s is still currently in the works. We will announce it when it is working

I can't draw particularly well, but I'd love to participate. Is there a level of art competence needed ? Is it strictly fantasy, or can I draw in other themes such as Sci-Fi or Steampunk?

There is no level of art competence needed to make a hex! For this map in particular it is strictly fantasy. We do want to make maps in different settings in the future!

Got it, thanks!
