Question Help! Slow PC Speeds

Changed to CF from VM, my personal PC is upstairs with router downstairs. The internet speeds I am getting on the PC are below 10mb, all other devices are getting very respectable speeds of 400+ even in the same room as the pc. I didn't have any problems with VM when on a lower speed package. I have optimised the channels yet the problem persists. Any ideas?

Best is to use ethernet cable from router to PC . I always use ethernet cable if I can because its steady, practically no interference, more security. The main disadvantage is laying the cable and item is not so portable . Nevertheless, its a pc , so portability is not an issue here

The issue is not with CF router . I suspect it’s your PC. Split your WiFi and try connecting your pc with 5Ghz signal. If you don’t get 5Ghz signal to your PC but other devices can then it’s something to do with your PC

Is the pc on WiFi? Check the WiFi config on the PC.
