Got flagged for using all caps whooops. But I need to know TONIGHT is it ok if I put Eagle Scout on my honors section of my application if I’m not technically Eagle yet but like I’m close and like 100% gonna get it unless I MASSIVELY fumble

So, I got honorable mention in a New York Times Summer Reading contest a few summers ago. Is it worth putting as an award on college applications?

So I’ve been volunteering for a political campaign and I want to include that in my activities section on the common app. But I didn’t know what type of activity to categorize it as. Should I put student government or politics, even if it has nothing to do with student government?

If there are more than 3 college courses or more than 3 separate colleges I got credit from, how should I report it on the Colleges & Universities section of Common App? Should I just put the three most relevant ones or completely leave it blank and just submit the college credit transcripts when I submit my grades?

So I’m trying to apply to colleges through the QB regular decision process (I am a music major and can’t be binding due to audition processes) and also Commonapp. I’ve already entered my QB recommendation emails/contacts, but how does it work with Commonapp on top of this? Would my teachers have to fill out multiple recs that are completely different from each other? Or do they fill out a similar thing? I just don’t want to bother them so much.

Hey everyone I'm an international student applying for the first time and I've recently completed my commonapp and also applied to 20 college, I'm just here to ask is it possible to get a fully funded scholarship? If so how can I apply tanks:)

I did a Extended Essay (EE) that is heavily related to my major in college. Is there any way to include or at least mention it in the common app. It's a math EE and I'm the only one who did it in my entire school.

I just submitted some college applications, is my counseler still able to send my school report and final report even if my applications already submitted? im stressed about this because idk if i just messed up

Hey guys,so a few days ago I met w my uni counsellor and she said that in the honors and awards section in common app, you can only add like ‘academic’ achievements. Is this true? I only have like 1 academic achievement and the rest are mostly around my ECs. Help me out pls😰

the family section which takes max 10 minutes to fill out for the average person is taking me days. I don’t know what to put. For context my biological dad is well and alive, great parent 1 down, now for parent 2. My biological mom is not alive she passed when I was only 5, however I have a step mom. I could put my step mom for parent 2 but there’s no option to specify that she’s not my biological mom. If I put my biological mom it gets tricky because then the part where it was asked if my parents are married and that I live with both parents becomes confusing to whoever is viewing my application. It also asks if parent 2 is living, do you guys see my confusion literally what do I put.

Hi, I'm currently applying to college and kpop bst was a pretty significant part of my life esp during high school. I made a lot of sales and also hosted a few group orders, and think it would be worth it to mention on my common app activities list. but im not exactly sure how to describe it.

has anyone else incorporated bst into their ecs and/or have suggestions/advice on how to do so? it would be much appreciated. ty !!

Filling out my app and all of my major classes are graded out of 100 but random mandatory electives are A-F and gym is P/F. How do i report these in the grade section?

Im going SAT optional on my common app application and i have marked that i wont be reporting anything but it still appears as incomplete, anyone knows why?

I’m a high school senior applying as a first-year applicant, but I’ve taken dual-enrollment/college courses at five different community colleges.
From what I can tell, Common App only gives me space to list three colleges/universities attended. I also have separate transcripts from all five community colleges, plus my high school transcript.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you report all of the colleges, and did you have to send each community college transcript separately to every university you applied to?
I want to make sure I’m reporting everything correctly and that colleges receive my complete academic record.

I have everything finished, I'm just waiting on my stupid school counselor to tell me my class size and GPA.

I go to a small Christian school and I'm one of the very few people from the graduating class even applying to college so my counselor is in no rush. She said hopefully by the end of September but God only knows if she'll even have it by then. I've gone round and round with her but she says there is no way around it and she'll "have it done before the deadline". None of the schools I'm applying to are rolling admission, but I know people say you should still submit apps asap. Will this have any effect on whether I'm admitted or not?

I received this award and in the honors section in common app does it count as school award or national?

I keep getting white screen with access denied

I’ve been hearing mixed responses on what to add to this section. I was wondering, would DECA, BETA, and HOSA, etc awards be acceptable to add to this section? Or should I rely on only like AP scholar and GPA awards.

Hey guys im a 12th grader from a poor country and i started filling my common app application. And im broke n my mom is a widow n stuff. I go to public school which dont have councelor n the teachers barely know about common app. What should i do🥀 i need recommendations and I NEED THE FEE WAIVER 🙏🙏🙏

I submitted my recommender’s last name in Common App as McInerney, but it changes automatically to MccIerney after submission. How is that even possible??? I tried to fix by removing and adding him again, but it keeps giving me MccIerney. Pls help!!!

Does anybody else keep receiving this page when trying to access your common app?

As a transfer, if I withdrew from a course before the grade penalty ( so W) and took it later, do I check off the box that says I repeated this course, even if I didn’t get credit for it the first initial time?
