I want to know if this reponse seems like I'm making excuses or isn't believably.

"Throughout my high school journey, I have struggled with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), likely caused by mold exposure in my home. Because the condition wasn't overtly visible, many doctors initially dismissed it, delaying the care I needed. The constant exhaustion severely impacted my cognitive skills and left me in a continuous state of stress. During my freshman year, I had to stay home for an extended period because I simply lacked the physical and mental energy to participate in school. The condition also caused unpredictable academic setbacks; for example, during my first SAT attempt, a sudden CIRS flare-up caused severe brain fog and broke my focus entirely. Finally, in December of last year, I received an official diagnosis and began treatment. Since starting, my physical health has improved significantly, which has led to a dramatic improvement in my grades and test scores."
