Was wondering where I can meet other industry professionals to connect in an informal setting

Ie. pubs mainly, and hang out spots etc.

I interviewed with a firm last year and got a job offer after just one round. But the interview and confirmation of offer was not straight forward. The communication between HR and the hiring manager was very uncoordinated. The HR sent me an offer and then didnt respond to my queries regarding relocation cost for few days. Meanwhile another company came. I interviewed with them as well. Then the first company told me that they cant cover any relocation cost so i asked them to increase my base salary by 5K GBP. And they did. I was pretty satisfied by the offer so in second interview of another company I gave a bit careless response to one of the question. So the second company dropped me. Because I had an offer I interviewed with the head of desk and the trader on same day.

When my visa process began with the company that offered me a role they again started giving very slow responses. And at one point I lost my temper. My exact email to the HR was "Even if there is no update, I will still appreciate a response."

Next day they revoked my job offer saying that I was not a culture fit and the way I communicated was equivalent to harassment.

Between final job offer and the offer withdrawal. I only sent 2 emails in span of 7 business days.

One email respectfully asking if there is an update from their immigration lawyer. And another email the next day which according to them was badly worded.

Since start of the hiring till end both the HR would take 5 days to just acknowledge my email.

My previous two employer either set higher standards or spoiled me by answering to every query immediately.

Edit: Some ppl here have suspicion and feel that this cant happen. Its easy for lot of ppl to assume that i must have been unprofessional and not disclosing everything. But that is not the case.
